"Once in a while, when browsing pictures on Flickr, I stumble upon something I want to get for my avatar. Mind you, it had been a while, but the Chronicles and Legends event managed to drag me back to SL, fast." Read more on the blog.
"Make a damn good KAWAII LOOK l Damn good outfit series... Sometimes it can seem difficult to make a complete look on a budget. In this video I show different free gift items I have gotten from various events in Second Life to make a complete kawaii look for Ebody curvy." Click to watch the video on YouTube.
"A benefit of being a premium member in Second Life is you get to choose a Linden Home. There are several themes to choose from, the very latest being Chalet Homes, so I decided it was time for a change and give up my Linden Houseboat and get one of the new ones. I really enjoyed decorating this one and so pleased how its turned out as sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge to keep within the 351li allowance, but I did it with some to spare! I hope you enjoy the tour of my linden home" Click to watch the video on YouTube.
"It’s the 3rd RL Photo Festival after 2019 with 12 participants and 2020 with 15 participants. The 2021 festival shows the artful pictures and photographs of 18 different artists. Nis Urqhart organized the festival, that takes place in a high-rise building, Helvellyn Gallery, that was provided by Chia (Volchia Ferduccio)." Read more on the blog.
"Frogmore covers the region of the same name and is home to 30k prims. However, Terry has managed to decorate it, leaving about 9k prims free. This helps to reduce lag, and in fact, I was able to take several pictures using Firestorm’s ultra mode without any problems." Read more on the blog.
"In 2017 I visited the Butterfly Conservatory, the work of Ry Heslop. I found it to be an engaging visit – one you can read about in Of lepidopterans, owls, bugs and honey in Second Life. I actually lost track of the conservatory a little while after that visit, so was pleased to learn via the Destination Guide that it has made a return to Second life and has a new home and it went on the list for places to (re)check out." "Over the past years I’ve seen my share of forests in Second Life, but for some reason I can’t get enough of them. Specially when they are beautifully landscaped and have a touch of magic! Today I visited Cloven Forest" Read more on the blog.
"The exhibition Dialogues: patterns, people promotes a conversation between the works of Melusina Parkin and Whiskey Monday, two of the most well-known photographers in Second Life. It’s an interaction whose participants are their images and whose substance is the polysemous repertoire of photographic art. Dialogues… runs from April 9 to June 26 at The 22 art space, kept by Randy Firebrand and me in Bellisseria." Read more on the blog.
"I was well-versed on PLUM from the original challenge a decade ago. For a very long time this post, "Where Does Plum Begin?" was in my most viewed pages of the week. It would pop up from time to time and year to year so I remembered the post title easily. That's a good thing because blogger doesn't seem to search all that well when you have almost 6000 posts in your blog!" Read more on the blog.
"This post is a special collaboration with my dear friend Ketan Qinan who is an amazing decorator and landscaper" Read more on the blog.
