  1. Yes, you probably can change the interior wall color to match your favorite shade of green. Scroll down to find the tutorial here for Victorian house panels. Look for the section for House Control Panels just inside your front door. Enjoy your new place!
  2. Is this the ever traveling Barstough Victorian cottage? My "sister alt" just happened to pick this up a few minutes ago. Will hold on to it for a day....or until the log homes release gets closer. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Barstough/227/69/32
  3. I'm already shopping around in my inventory and in the marketplace for new furniture for a cabin! Guess I need to figure out that "sister's password"!
  4. Finally settled into my Traditional at Gingham Point with a Winchester home so I could use that balcony for the water views. Took me a few days to figure out what I wanted which is pretty much Victorian Traditional. Now need to decide if to keep two premium accounts (Victorian and Traditional, add a third so I can look for the new cabins or just keep one place. Decisions!
  5. Gingham Point is being re-started now. Just a heads up in case something bigger is happening out there.
  6. Thank you for the ideas! I'm always pulling bits and pieces from things I own to mash stuff together to fit what I need. I'll definitely go play with using Marianne's tutorial and put together an add-on to a Traditional home I picked up that has water on two sides. Thanks again!
  7. Gingham Point rushed to their fences to see the huge Coast Guard ship cut the waves just under our homes cliff sides. Hope there isn't an emergency at sea!
  8. Yes, just across the pond from my camp. Did you see the train camper on the other side of the water? Surprisingly the horse farm didn't contribute any kind of lag to the area. I started to keep it just for the river path down to the sea and houseboats.
  9. Just lucked into one of Trads on Gingham Point. I'm happy - I have water views on two sides, literally on the Point! One neighbor! This little sister can make do with a Traditional while I keep my Victorian.
  10. Yes, my alt "sister" is back to being homeless. I do have a Victorian in New Farthing however no water view so I'll play Congrats to the person who picks up the camper!
  11. Camper on Twofer with view of water and a lovely floating deck being released.
  12. Wandering around SSPE1046 - Victorians ready to be released with the usual red lettering hovering over their roofs. Next door on the world map are Swithins Bridge, Carrollton Bay, Pudding and Whitmarsh have rows of Victorians just waiting on the street facing the water...ready to go but not released. No red hovering titles! Governor Linden owns them all. Hmmm, maybe my alt doesn't need that camper on Twofer even with its little river/lake view.
  13. @Syane Jewell LISP Artemis mesh paneling. The fireplace is also from there.
  14. @Elena Core So pretty...and with a tiny kitten companion!
  15. Well, classic "Eleanor" driving...I'm always a menace when driving in SL. Looks like I'm not even able to pull out of the driveway before I backed up, couldn't find the brakes, plowed through a hedge and got stuck. Back to starting slow...slow..slow. Speaking of retirees, anyone watch Grace & Frankie? Remember their golf cart get-away? I think Bellisseria should have that golf cart race. Back to driving practice! Driving hint...the click on the steering wheel will flip you out of the hedges and brick fences...looks innocently back at her neighbor's smashed hedges...
  16. I think I've put down roots for now with my Victorian. I've traded off from my first Traditional and then to my cute camper...not a houseboat person. I do enjoy decorating and setting up a new place to live so if I get bored with the the Shelley, I'll just switch out to one of the other Victorian model homes. I still have a small parcel on a private estate, mainly because I do enjoy having four seasons with a deep freeze winter snow and ice in a medieval/Victorian theme. Of course, there is always that tempting new theme somewhere in the future....
  17. Love the hedge maze in New Farthing in the center fountain courtyard.
  18. Yes, we shop at many of the same places LAQ for sweet, low prim mesh furniture in multiple colors or I just always get the fatpack: library book cases, dining room table, chairs and bench, bathroom cabinet set, clawfoot bathtub, bedroom suite with bed and side tables. I still have my LAQ living room furniture too and use it at my estate home. Here is the shopping transport: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LAQ Decor/68/62/34 Just head down the stairs.
  19. I do love New Farthing, even though it is not near any body of water. The centerpiece is the wonderful center garden with the fountain. Have you realized the hedge circle is really a maze? Reminds me of my Caledon gardens that usually had a maze taking over my parcels.
