  1. Thank you for the shopping suggestion! This replaced what I had in my Stilt home with fewer Li.
  2. Looking for a lighthouse decoration for 2Li in three colors? Goose has this one at Cosmopolitan Shopping http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/No Comment/91/19/22 for $249 It is large but you can size it down if you would like to use it as a table lamp or just find a place outside in your beach garden.
  3. Thank you for your wonderful video tutorial. Finished my application and dropped it in the mailbox.
  4. Mistbrooke has a lovely room layout with a surprise out back. Mirrored wings of two large rooms bracketing the nice sized entrance hall. The surprise is that there are two back doors opening onto a stone patio.
  5. Love the looks of these! These remind me of all the fantasy, medieval gothic stuff I have in boxes.
  6. Yes, in the Midwest, definitely a basement with beer, bar, TV, and lots of sports memorabilia!
  7. I vote also for the bungalows - maybe even styled after the Sears Craftsmen homes. Sears and other companies also did two story homes for the rural farmhouse. Stained glass windows with arches? That would be a cool touch especially if we could change the glass colors. Bungalows would be the closest to having a city look without building brownstones wall-to-wall. Need a trolley line running down the main streets:) Here is a Pinterest collection I found that includes original ad and floor plans for that era. 1920s Craftsmen Exterior Collection
  8. You know sometimes you just roll a house that speaks to you. This is mine. I started out in Victorian Caledon way back in the day so still have that special feeling from that time. I had an earlier Victorian for almost a year but had one of those moments and decided to make a move. This is now my home sitting on a sandy point on the coast. I'm still changing up the decor and fussing with the garden even after almost six months. Thank you again to whoever abandoned this lovely place.
  9. If you search for Brady Stream and hit the teleport button, you end up wishing you were wearing a scuba suit. The bird's eye view from above shows the tunnel running from Windsurfers Solitude to Brady Stream...south to north. If you are at the center windmill on Brady Stream just center yourself and head south on a direct flight. Looks like Mr. A. Mole left his car parked after a long day at work at Windsurfers Solitude.
  10. Just look for this orange ring on the dock. Click and the houseboat styles will pop up in blue box. If you want to see ideas for decorating a houseboat look in this forum for different models and furnishings. Here is a link to my current houseboat that has had a few changes. See pictures below. 11. Releasing this camper sitting pretty on the bank of a river in Sparkle Bottoms. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sparkle Bottoms/221/186/47
  12. La Galleria has a gift gallery displaying free seashell decorations. I have most of these tucked away in my messy inventory. Cute prints especially to add to your summer beachy themes. Just subscribe to a mailing list. La Galleria Main Landing Point landmark http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/La Galleria II/251/248/26 The rug department here is immense in case you are looking for something different.
  13. I was just going to suggest Trompe Loeil antique set https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Trompe-Loeil-Hudson-Chair-PG-mesh/12974818 Take a look at Apple Fall Oxford Wingback Chairs in solids and patterns. I've used the cream white one and tinted it into different colors. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Apple-Fall-Oxford-Wingback-Chair-Solids/15872370 I use LISP quite a bit for their different looks https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LISP-Lilac-Thistle-Whole-Living-Room-Set/7743098 Visiting their store will give you ideas on how to match up Victorian vintage with their iron frame beds and chairs. Go visit an old favorite LAQ which has a furniture store on the lower level. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LAQ Decor/68/61/34 Low prim count with a definite vintage appeal. Here is a link to an earlier Victorian home I decorated. LISP in the living room, Apple Fall with LAQ main book case, LAQ dining room set with LAQ in the bedroom and bath.
  14. Just dropped this Victorian and it's still in Maintenance. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Filberty/136/200/30
  15. It is a maze of wandering around to find it! Piano display inworld
  16. Sometimes you just need a new piano. Playing a piano in SL has always been entertaining. (Can barely pick out a simple tune in RL.) This one is an upright with a choice of 6 colors included. Solo and duet players with well-done music. Only 8Li including the piano bench. This is the same creator who made that darling golf cart we were all racing around in the first year in Belli. The Black Forest marketplace listing. Piano display inworld at the store. Just saying, visiting the store in world means you can go down a rabbit hole of $10 items that you didn't know you needed....like quacking rubber duckies? Warbug Headquarters Drop by to visit my home in Granby Court if you would like to check out the piano. The door is open! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Granby Court/120/102/23
  17. Top 5 Homes: 1. Victorians - have always loved Victorian style homes. My dream home in real life if that were possible. 2. Traditional, especially the Winchester - that balcony on the back! Probably since this was my first Belli home, makes it still my favorite. 3. Houseboats - Hard to find your perfect spot but once you land on it and decorate, you may never leave. Love the instant ability to jump in a boat and take a water tour. 4. Log Homes - Peace and quiet in the woods. 5. Campers - just plain cute and a challenge to decorate with fewer prims. Top Landscapes: 1. Victorian - Pretty landscaped large yards with flowers and trees. #1 with the roads, hills, and little pocket gardens and squares. 2. Log Homes - The trees! The boulders! The roads! 3. Campers - Different landscaping all over the place with connections to water, railroads and more. 4. Stilts - Love the variety and the way the stilt homes are spaced out. Piers definitely space out the homes though if you find a great island or coastal line area, the stilts on land which hang out into the water add to the landscape. 5. Chalet - Landscaping is lovely with the garden flowers with the yard fences. The different "hills" dividing up parcels do give privacy. *For some reason, decorating a Stilt or Chalet home just hasn't connected with me. Nice homes - just haven't seen one that calls me home. *Traditional home landscaping needs rejuvenation. Maybe when all the themes have been released, our favorite Moles can change up the hedges, add more flowers to the front walks, and add pocket gardens. You can tell from the later Traditional regions, creative touches start showing up.
  18. KraftWork is taking my shopping allowance this weekend. 99L for table, cute multicolored chairs and the flower covered hanging ladder. Need to go look up this PopUp shopping group. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/KraftWork/228/134/21
  19. Looking for a fresh look for window boxes, these are 2Li from ariskea at Uber. Deluxe edition with multiple colors of flower boxes and petunias. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Uber/208/205/19
  20. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Uber/202/213/19
  21. Yes, I picked up a Bachman at the start. I'm planning on staying right where I am for now. Parcel is just fine with that neighborhood feel. Later I'll experiment with the different models and colors - giving time for the servers, etc. to settle in. (Just love the tulips scattered everywhere!)
  22. Well, lookie here.... @NikaTalaj This is why I so enjoy SL, even after all these years.
  23. Yes, water views and mountain forest views on both sides of the ridges. Almost makes me want to try for a new log cabin.
