Well, scheduled maintenance for this morning has finished - no other issues on the grid status (for today) ...could today be the day for the release???🤔 Wishful thinking...😀

Well all the maintenance scheduled for today has been completed...soooo...maybe a release is possible??? There are quite a few green dots on the SSP purple region...so maybe if they are still really busy there maybe not...?

The Lindens' goal was to release before the end of the year (based on past quotes), but at this point I think it's quite possible they don't even know if they can - maybe the effects of uplift e,g. Oz's comments about lots of restarts being possible for some weeks yet, are making things a bit up in the air ( no pun intended) in terms of being able to schedule a firm date at the moment on their calendar. It's frustrating because it seems like such a long time since the preview, but I'm sure they want to give them to us as soon as they can, and are doing what they can to make that happen. I really hope it won't be after Christmas though :(

Hmm, yes when I came across Oz's comment my first thought was that perhaps this might mean no Stilt release for some weeks. I'll be really disappointed if it's not before Christmas. But I'll just have to put my patience pants on...😞. It feels like being a kid in a car constantly saying "Are we there yet" ...:)

I think they are just going to get rid of it all (I'm sure they have said as much in the past). There are actually some really cute and nice spots across the old LH regions which I only discovered in the past couple of years. I've taken quite a few snapshots (I think I have a post also about it somewhere on my blog). It's interesting to compare these old builds to the new Bellisseria places. @Patch Linden I wish they would have a region that's like a LH museum, so you can see each style, both old and new, and how the homes have developed from inception up to today, and into the future. It's all part of SL history which I think would be nice to be preserved. They could include the development showcase they had at one of the events this/last year where they showed the original new LH versions and a great slideshow of how the development of Bellisseria works.

It was mentioned somewhere that all regions have been uplifted now. Can't remember where though.

On the Grid Status there isn't anything going on on 8th or 9th and after that it shows only login maintenance for an hour/30 mins. I hope they release this week. Of course there are probably things I don't know about or understand that could affect release. But I'm just going by what's on the status page...

I'm wondering if they might release them tomorrow or Wednesday since today has rolling restarts from 6AM. I'll probably just spend ages trying to decide between a couple of the styles. Then spend ages decorating interspersed with exploring the new regions:)

I think thinking of the past as 'good ol' days' is just looking back with rose tinted glasses and nostalgia. There are good and bad things about any time, past or present. Having said that there are a couple of things that I think have changed that I miss from the early days, already mentioned by some in previous posts: Inworld building - I like mesh for the low LI and a lot of it does look great, but I loved seeing, and I admired, the ingenuity from builders I've seen in the past using just prims. I wish there was a way to create mesh inworld. More people talking in chat - everyone seemed to in the old days and it seemed much easier to strike up a conversation with someone. Now, most people don't seem to notice if you type in chat because they are busy in IM's or whatever. I understand why, but I just think people seem less approachable because of it. I have a lot of fond memories from the early days, that's not to say SL was 'better' back then all round. Some bits yes, others not.

HAHA - I was totally wrong 😁 Edit - maybe not! the pic is tagged in his Linden Homes album:) It doesn't look like one of the ones in the reveal so maybe it's one of the other 4 more open ones to come..

EDIt - I just asked and they are in the content pack Oh and they are only 1LI!

They don't appear to be linked to the main house structure. Perhaps they are an addon that comes with the home content pack?

Another tid bit picked up inworld - Apparantely Patch has said that there will be 8 styles altogether - the 4 shown now and then 4 more which are more open plan. So 8 choices - nice:)

Yes, good point. I think they're very cute and the landscaping is really pretty (I love the tulips). They kinda remind me of a cute fantasy house. Not my personal cup of tea, but as usual they've done something lovely. I'm wondering how popular they will be compared to what's gone so far.

They are very pretty and quaint, with a European vibe (to me anyway). The insides remind me a bit of the log homes. EDIT: Patch has said in chat:

Thanks!:) I've no clue what the next theme is (my guess is some kind of fantasy or country style). Nice to know exactly when the reveal is coming. Exploring it will keep me occupied regarding new homes over the weekend whilst waiting for the Stilt release (next week we hope!) lol.

Thanks. I was remembering the log region at the last ACS Expo I think - I remember a crowd of us gathered on the edge of a region looking out into the vast sea beyond waiting for the land to rise up from the see lol.

In the past the reveal region has not been made visible until reveal time, so I wouldn't expect to see it on the map any time until then as people could cam in and look at it.
