what do you get in a premium membership
Lyra Blackthorne replied to Angelica Ormenthal's question in Everything Else
Per the answer you already recieved with Preimum membership you get a Free linden home or you can buy a 512 plot to create your on house on and pay no tier. You can also buy mainland property while non-premium members can only rent land from other estate owners or buy non-mainland sims. I think the weekly stipend is about 300L per week and think there is still a 1000L bonus you recieve 45 days after upgrading. While you pay with dollars, a most of the membership fee comes right back to you in the form of lindens via the bonus and stipend mentioned. Customer support is a big benefit. There is little assistance beyond the forums or an AR for non-premium accounts. Premium members can go to live chat for instant help and also have other service benefits. -
I think Mashooka too has some nice items

1. Sometimes high prim items will prevent teleports. Try changing hair, shoes, jewelry or even some jackets to lower your prim count and see if helps. 2. Maybe it is the location. Log out and instead of logging back into same spot select to log in at home or another sim 3. If none of the 2 above help I would try another viewer. I Use Phoenix and Firestorm and have no problems. I do have problems when trying to run Kirstens but others love it. Could be the viewer you are running just not compatible with your system.

There is nothing you can do to make two prims read as one but there are building tricks that allow you to get the same look or at least similar using fewer prims. Check the building forum, maybe post a picture of your home and see if you can get any suggestions. In my house I replaced high prim stairs with scuplt stairs and did some extra texturing work in photoshop to visually create looks I wanted for a few items but in graphic formats instead of multiple single textured prims linked. Good luck!

Maybe it is just me but when the avies modeling an item look dated I figure the products inside are old too. And maybe they even are lol, but think should always appear to be new and fresh. Suggest updating the model with a great skin, hair, eyes...with items released this year or, get a friend who has a super avie to model for you. Another alternative would be take the model totally out of the pic and try to showcase in some other manner. In product shots think depth and dimension can help showcase and add polish. I like to use drop shadows, sometimes glows and or photoshop effects to help the product pop off the box more The bottom section of your template with logo looks great I think

Do you still see the box where you tried to rez it? If not check yor lost and found folder it might have been returned to you. You can type the name of the skin in your inventory search window and see if it comes up. If you copied the items from your box into inventory it should now be a folder, or if it was a loose skin maybe in your body parts folder

Help me, SL is crushing ALL the time! No matter what viewer I use
Lyra Blackthorne replied to Wofky Krokus's question in Technical
Sometime wearing too many prims will make teleport fail. Try removing high prim items like hair, jewelry, shoes sometimes even a jacket and see if that helps -
Check Bryce...think he has a comb-over

What's the difference between "wear items" and "add items"?
Lyra Blackthorne replied to SailDog Raymaker's question in Inventory
We only have certain attachment points and you can only "wear" one item on each point. So if you were "wearing" a shirt that was a jacket layer and wanted to also wear a sweater, vest and or coat that was a jacket layer you would need to "add" the addtional layers since the shirt was already primary Hope that makes sense! -
Valerie told you how to do this in your first posting. It is better if you edit your original questions instead of spamming the forums. You will find an edit option on right of your message in the options drop down

Items either come in boxes or folders. boxes need to be opened When you buy from Marketplace almost all items are in a box. If you buy in a store they can come in a folder or a box. If it is a folder it will be mixed in with your other inventory folders, if it is in a box you will most likely find it in your objects folder. You must open boxes by dragging the box icon out of your inventory onto the ground a little bit away from your avatar. Then you right click on the box and choose copy to inventory. This will move things out of the box and make a folder with the contents inside your inventory. Then just open the clothing folder and click on one item and select wear...or drag the fold onto your avatar to wear the entire folder content, but this will knock off everything else you are wearing like hair and eye lashes Good luck and welcome to SL!

someone who has a real shop in SL not just products listed online at the marketplace -
umm, y ou would just use the first name or use the first and last run together
-
Go to search then events and the education section. There you will find a list of classes that you can take inworld In the wiki and knowledge base you will find several tutorials If you google "creating clothes in second life" you will find many links and I have also seen videos on youtube
-
If you have already landed in our world and are looking for things to do search is your friend. type in interests you have in RL and see what comes up - almost anything you like to do in RL is likely expressed in SL someplace check events tab in search for social activities... also in events/education you will find free classes. took many of the classes when I first arrived learning about SL and also was good place to meet other people there is a destination guide and it can be fun to just tp around exploring there are also new resident locations like NCI and Oxford where there are often people that can answer questions you can also find these in search

You can try rebaking ctrl/alt/r if that does not work.... Go into your library and drag any one of the outfit folders onto your avie; that should work to make you visable again and then you can put back on your normal items

You could look for a space station skybox Found this on the Marketplace: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Isis-Tempus-Space-Station/1786891
