In short, they are only changing the way avatar textures are baked. It should not have any negative effects, in fact the change is an attempt to once and for all fix the problem with avatar textures no loading resulting in blurred images or the famous Ruth. No, switching viewers wont help you because I am pretty sure every TPV including Firestorm will update their viewers to work properly. Please don't panic. However, there was one major problem discovered recently that is a showstopper for me. The ability to adjust Z Offset no longer works with SSB. There is a Jira on the issue and hopefully LL will get that worked out before rolling it out.

No you cannot make a button like the "Places" button. I do agree it would be great to be able to do so but I would guess that would need a hell of a lot of recoding of he viewer and right now they still have a lot of bugs to fix so new features would not be a priority. If you want to though, you can create a Jira to ask for a new feature. Don't hold your breath though.

The LM folder has a button on V3 viewer called "Places". It is what she is referring to.

In addition to Rolig's answer. The easiest way to find active gestures is to type "active" on inventory search without the quotes.

You are probably seeing yourself as Ruth (a noob looking short female). Try rebaking or sometimes changing hair base works as well.

Sorry, their sim their rules they pay tier for it not you so they get to make their rules. Learn from that mistake and move on, there are many other places to go to in SL but from now on learn to obey sim rules.

I think you mean troubleshooting? If you are having trouble shooting are you trying to shoot with a weapon? Do you mean you can't wear alpha layers?

It's silly to leave SL because of drama. I am sorry they are making your SL miserable but honestly you can control how you feel and react about it. Ignore them it's not hard. I've been in SL for a long time in one form or another and I can tell you that I have never been harassed, not because nobody has tried but because I laugh everything off and get on with my life, I don't even bother to AR.

For cheerleading there is SLCC (I believe it is called). And for soccer there is a millions places but you have to search for football not soccer.

Life is too short to worry about petty SL drama. You've muted and reported the person. Now just forget about them and move on. Go enjoy your SL and let them talk whatever they want about you, who cares? If you hear anyone say something to you just LOL at it and keep smiling.

Can you please try to log into your store from an external browser and while logged in relog into SL. Then come back and tell us if that worked. Don't start a new thread just edit your post to add new information.

No. YOU are absurd. SL is not a music streaming service. Go complain to your streaming service provider not LL.

You will always see the groups YOU belong to. On the Firestorm viewer it is easy to identify which groups you have hidden because they will be grayed out. If you don't want others to see your groups then hide them all. You can only see groups others belong to if they have chosen not to hide them. NOTE: In web profiles you can select to hide the group tab (if I am not mistaken) but this won't stop anyone who DOES NOT use web profiles from seeing your groups.

My alt has one too and in my case it's a hideous set of couches that make me so mad seeing them in my store page. I wish LL would fix this but my guess is they don't care.

The region you are trying to log into may be down. Have you tried login in to a different location? If you don't know the name of one try Pooley.

Looking good so far. I would do away with the tattoos or get better ones maybe. Also you should look around for a different skin, try on a lot of demos first. The skin will make a huge difference.

Get a RL baby and record them with something like Audacity. But as someone who plays as a child avatar let me just tell you how much I loathe annoying gestures kids use. It ruins RP and they are really unnecessary. So if you are planning on making kid gestures at the very least make some that are cute and not annoying.

LOL tried to create awareness about the jira but was laughed at. I can make my own custom animations so won't bother me none I'll just laugh at all my child and tiny avi friends when they start sinking into the ground

Watched and voted and will try to persuade my friends who use the child avatars to do so as well.
