Happens sometimes if you rez stuff inside a house. Your client searches a point in front of the camera, where you point you house. if there is anther Prim in the way, even it its only the invisible part of a sculpy. I had this witrh a costomer who always panned out the camera to a window to rez, and managed to "rez" the Item on the window directly behind the camera, as the camera was inside the sculpy of he window.

Wich question is more common: - Wheres my 1000L? or - How I can take of my underwear?

Lookwise Kirstens is really nice, but it needs lots of graphic power, so if your PC isnt powerful, you might want to use it for still photos only. Bad thing: Crappy v2 - UI.

Next Firestorm will support mesh... and i guess, only when Firestorm has it, it will be available for the general SL population, Phoenix is the must used viewer by far. I can easily wait till then

How can it be that 1 of my avatars has a credit card enable i even use... but when i try to add my credit card data to my other Av (i just want my builder to have "Payment data on file"), the system where i enter my Data says it cannot verify? How can it not verify he very same card i USED a few min before on my main account via SL cashier? This somehow sounds like shizophrenia to me.... .or is SL Cashier not used now again for new Avs? Yeah i know, contact billing... EDIT1: Well, thats what i tried. But i dont land in Cashier but in some other system, to enter the CC-Data, and on verify, it does not verfiy.

Unless Linden changes the name system back to Firstname/Surnamem you wont. Your Firstname is for Login, "Resident" gets only used for the Systems that still require a second name(e.g. about EVERY System, from Viewers, to Greeters, to MM Boards to ... everything that calls you by name. Only thing you can do is settling a displayname... and vote for the JIRA to bring back names.

You should ask, why your "friends" know... for in order to know, they must be playing Bloodlines too. The "Game" asks you if you accept the bite, did any of your "friends" offer you a hug or stuff latety, and mixed the bite request in? About the morally questionable way of "Bloodlines" - players spamming bite requests, entire sagas have been written in this forum, i think, even the creators set it, so newbies under a certain age cant be bitten. The Garlic Necklace kind of registers you, even only as a "i dont wanna play" person, and so, is "opt-out" instead of "opt-in", in the eyes of many extremely questionable. But the "Status of your Soul" is only for this one crappy pyramid-scheme game, so your avatar is not actually hurt, even though i have to admit, its kinda ennerving and feels bad to get told this. In my opinion they should ban the "game" and its creators, but for now they did not yet overstep the line that makes Linden itself get active. The BEST Defense against the system is muting the bite or claw attachment of the "game" itself, and never ever click an ok, on a popup without reading it thouroughly.

No, it is not possible, if the Item is "no-trans", your avatars are all diffrent accounts.

Just try "Teleport home" i think, LL sets the home post automatically to your house. (or gives you a LM to it)

Das einzig sinnvolle ist es, ein paar Euros einzutauschen. Jede Art am Anfang Geld inworld zu verdienen ist Zeit/Aufwandmässig nicht lohnend. Muss ja nicht viel sein, 5-10K Linden kosten nicht die Welt, und sorgen für einen ansehnlichen Avatar und, ein wenig Startgeld. Geldbäume kannst vergessen, gibts kaum noch, und wenn irgendwas um 1-2 L = deine Zeit nicht wert.

A negative Point is, if you rent or buy from someone else, not Linden self (as in buying Mainland with a Premium) you are basically at Mercy of the Landowner or Estateowner, and you have in case of a dispute no rights on your side as Linden does not enter Resident-Resident disputes. Most larger landowners became that large cause the earned the trust of many people with being a fair landlord, but you have black sheep too. On you own Premium Mainland no one can mess with you easily.. but then, Mainland is usually only good for skyboxes as its covered with a weird variety of prims. For myself i have a nice, trusty estate owner with great Service, for my home, and a lil Mainland parcel i rent out.

Open the groups you dont want shown. On the first page, bottom are 2 Checkboxes, one if you want to get group notices, the other if you want that group shown. uncheck this box, close, next group.
