  1. Do a full uninstall of your current installed version. Here is the link to the Windows downloads - just pick the one you want: http://www.firestormviewer.org/windows/ ETA: I read the OP as "I want to go back to 32bit" - oops
  2. You can flag an item as a Favorite instead and your Favorites stay private. That is how I use my Favorites list, rather than noting favorite items that I've already bought.
  3. The Seasons Story and Sanarae both actually have true FREE Gifts this time around. Every merchant at Sanarae has one and just about every merchant at The Seasons Story has one.
  4. Because of scammers / spammers, etc.! This Wishlist is a list of items that a person put on the list, indicating that they wanted those items. If a scammers sent someone stuff from their wishlist, I don't know that it would be considered harassment unless they added some horrid message (if that is possible via a wishlist purchase). The old original 'Buy as Gift' is still available and via that method you have always been able to send stuff to anyone, whether they were your Friend or not. The only difference with this new stuff is that we can now see a list of items that a person is specifically wanting. The Wishlist can end up being really helpful come Christmas time (or Rez Day time)
  5. Why? I can't see any reason to restrict who you gift to. Just use Favorites / Products for things you don't want to be seen publicly.
  6. How is the name specified when there is a last name? I tried it with an alt and can't find her wishlist. ETA: Found it - I was missing the 's' at the end of "wishlists" (specify full names the same as in the web profile - with a period between the two names)
  7. I've somewhat done that in the past -- gift it via an alt
  8. When you first posted the link, since it was before this latest forum change, I wasn't sure if the reactions would be available, but apparently since it is the same underlying software, this latest forum change has made reactions available for all the stuff in these forums - so back to some time in 2010.
  9. That's what so frustrating about that particular type of posting style: The sentences are complete, just not properly punctuated or capitalized and such.
  10. Not wanting to be a 'sentence nazi' or whatever (since my own punctuation is sometimes inaccurate), I'll not post this in any of the threads where I've recently seen it, but instead I will vent here: If a person can manage to type in mostly full sentences, without lots of chat speak (using u instead of you, etc...), then why is it so hard to add capitalization and end of sentence punctuation, rather than just running everything together (maybe, maybe) separated by a series of dots? I realize that when posting via a phone, it sometimes takes an extra finger click/jab to add a period, but doing so will typically automatically capitalize your next word for the beginning of a new sentence. And other capitals, apostrophes, and such do not really add that much more time. I try not to complain too much about grammar and punctuation since I tend to toss in hyphens to break up thoughts, rather than using semi-colons or periods or parens when those would likely be better. However, I think my posts are still very readable and understandable, even given my quirk with hyphens. Yet when nothing is capitalized and there are tons of sentences only separated by a few dots, it is often just so difficult to read and fully understand the gist of what is being said.
  11. I'm pretty sure that I turn red in RL when I first ended up somewhere unexpected naked - before I understood SL a bit better.
  12. For some reason, here in the Forums, they only announced this in the Merchants section: https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/428640-marketplace-updates-wishlists-and-favorite-sellers/ And though it was also posted on the Blogs, it was in the Commerce section: https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/2431-your-favorite-marketplace-update-the-wishing-edition/ Neither of those are areas that I typically read, thus I only knew about it because someone I 'follow' commented on the forum post.
  13. Respectfully........ see my post above. Your original question was not the same as your later questions.
  14. You can change your profile by right clicking your avatar inworld and selecting My Profile - update as you please. Or go to your profile via the web: https://my.secondlife.com; click Settings and then click the sections you wish to update. However, based on your thread title, I'm thinking maybe you mean 'How do I change my profile settings to allow adult content?' Click Me in the top menu bar (within the viewer - after logging in) and then click Preferences. You should then be able to set your preferred access level - see screenshot below. If you cannot select Adult then you either gave a birthday during signup that says you are under 18 or you are being impacted by a minor bug and will need to open a Support ticket: https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/
  15. But that is not what you actually requested in your first post - thus why you got the answers that you got. You asked?
  16. I think it just came with the software and they left it enabled. They did make some sort of change quite a while back, though I don't remember the specifics. I just remember that there was some sort of link to that board that was easier to find. Now, I'm not sure there is any way to get to it unless you already have the link.
  17. There is even a Winners Board, https://community.secondlife.com/leaderboard where you can see all of the current Leaders and previous Leaders by category and/or time, as well as the Top members overall .
  18. You know how we can only post one thing every 60 seconds? Maybe if you do too many reactions too fast, it temporarily shuts you down on doing so???? Yeah, I'm just making wild a** guesses right now.
  19. As Skell mentioned, "Winning the Day" is quite important to a few people. The more you post, the better your chances of getting lots of reactions, thus upping your Rep and having better odds at Winning the Day. Nevermind that some of those are not reactions in a good way. I thought it was 500 Posts to change your title, rather than 500 Rep points.
  20. I totally forgot about Unrigged boots. Probably half of my boots are unrigged, and they do make dressing easier sometimes.
