Do you think Bellisseria should have railroads?
Would you like to live next to the tracks?
OP's clarificatiion: The other railroad thread concerns the status of the railroad and observation/suggestions by rail users. This tread is about how residents might feel about railroads in the context of prioritization of scare resources for constructing Bellisseria.
What "scarce resources"? It's not the typo, it's a genuine question. I love boating, too, so water is a bigger draw than the railroads.

I scored a trad with tracks next to it and really liked it. I like rl trains too, unless I have to wait for one with 1000s of containers and then they stop back up stop back up more stop wait 5 min bangbangbangnforward for 5 min stop bang lol..
There are railroad tracks near Bishop International Airport. People were constantly being delayed by freight trains. I never missed a flight, but I could imagine that happening. Finally a bridge was built to avoid the issue.

I agree, @Sylvia Tamalyn. I would have a front-facing riverview home near Stross if that was the case.

I live about the same distance from some railroad tracks. It's great to be able to hear that lovely whistle every now and then. I've been in love with rail travel ever since I was in kindergarten. We had a class trip on a train from Flint to Durand, Michigan. I've been hooked ever since. I moved to San Francisco via the California Zephyr back in 1976. Paid $50 to return home to Michigan by way of Greyhound. Never missed owning a car when I lived in SF. Public transportation has always been my thing.

Thanks for the inspiration, @Teresa Firelight

@Eirynne SieyesMaybe that kind of open floor plan would work for me. I like the Trads, because I am always faced with the dilemma of furnishing a large space. Even the Winchester seemed too big when they were first released.

I had not realized that about TP history on more than one machine so thank you. I leave a GoH image in the Options tab so I will know if I have been to the parcel before (unless a prior owner left a really nice image there and, in that case, I leave the prior image there cuz I will remember it.)
Unfortunately I destroy your method of keeping track. I tend to clean out all the info on the parcels (even the music stream). You'd think I'd leave all the windows open, too, to freshen up the home for the next owner. I always chuckle when I encounter those aired out parcels.

Sometimes you get the same region time again even if it isn't the same parcel. That happened to my alt today, but it turned out to be a spot I liked and didn't have before.

I liked the old Asian theme but was always bummed that I couldn't see out of the windows. Very claustrophic. Yay, windows!

Patch said there will be canals, and beautiful gardens, too!!!

I think I remember Abnor or someone saying that the music stream is one thing that does NOT get reset when the home is abandoned.
I always delete the music stream before I abandon. They remain from owner to owner. Like some people open all the windows to air the place out for the next owner, I like giving people a clean slate. No picture under Options, no music stream, blank walls.

Looks tropical to me...the plant leaves, the drinks for a hot & sweaty day. But they just did a water theme with stilts, so that doesn't make sense
Sure it does, people love water.

about 0715 SLT
opps meant this for the When did you see thread... will repost there too
And the new owner of the Forsyte named the parcel - Linden Home. I've heard of this happening. Now I got to see it in action.

It is on Fugu (a new sim recently released) right along the northern land edge 🙂
I keep telling myself I am going to reduce down to ONE premium account and then I get an itch to try a new theme but do not want to give up the amazing home I have so the endless cycle continues.
I had a lovely spot on Fugu for a couple weeks. Every time I decide to downgrade an alt, she lands the "perfect" spot.

Isn't it worth being Premium just so you can play the Game of Homes?
To a certain extent, but then, there's a point when I feel that I'm rolling the dice for no good reason. Ennui has set in. Such a first world problem.

There's a nice trad in Gentle Grove on the LP right now. I just caught it twice. Water on two sides!
I got it, too, but let it go, since I think I have my forever Trad in Edgar. (Yeah, right, "forever" is relative.) Beautiful spot in Gentle Grove.

Wandered around Apple Fall and found these wingback chairs. - 4 textures (there is a gray linen behind the leather chair) and only 3Li. These are marked as free since they were originally a charity event item. See Apple's poster below. Link for the chairs http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Apple Fall/174/181/55
Of course, I shopped the 50L sale on the marketplace while checking my inventory
Just tacking on an addendum. The stove that goes along with the Plantation Kitchen is free in the Outlet at Apple Fall. I'm one of the few people that doesn't own nearly everything by Apple Fall.

Unfortunately you're stuck with the Tortuga deck, @EnchantrixLisa. I got a chuckle, because the Santiago tends to be my fave. I would like more deck added, so it extends into the water. We all have our dreams.

All stilts are pastel, just saying. Maybe stilts aren’t for you if you don’t like them. I wish they would update and give us more neutral earthy tones too.
I've used an outer shell to change the color of the stilts. They only add 1 prim to the parcel. I don't mind pastels, just not a fan of all of the hues that are included with the stilts.

When did you last see a Bellisserian home available? Starting afresh.

I usually roll around 8 or 9 a.m. EST (5 or 6 a.m. SLT), and I've gotten some great locations lately doing that.Maybe it's the Europeans who are abandoning at that time. I'm talking stilt on piers, houseboats, Trads and Newbrooke.
