Children are not allowed in SL on mature sims. There are 3 kinds of sims: - General (PG), - Moderate (Mature), - Adult (access after age verification). Teenagers (over 17 years old) have not limited access only to General. If you meet a child on Moderate sim just simply send abuse report. These reports have priority and if there is a proof the account is disabled.

What to do to be able to see the Destination Guide in viewer? I have win7. I know that I can read Destination Guide on website but I need the access from viewer to make the tutorial. This is why I decided to do something about it finally. I know that Destination Guide works for some people for some not. I should have a look in jira but I belive here I will get the advice much faster. :) Edit The question is not valid any more for viewer 2.x because the Destination Guide is redirected to other website than before and works for me.

Hi, There are several possibilities. 1. Group chat. You can set a group for 100 L$ and add other Residents. You will be able to chat them in group chat. To keep privacy you need to close the group for others. 2. You can start a conference with choosen friends from your list. 3. When you are on the same sim you can use scripted objects eg dvc/vpc to communicate with people who wear them. 4. You can teleport other Residents to the same place and chat them using local chat. If there is nobody else around it will be private too. If you have more questions please add them in comments.

Hi Pichu, Welcome to SL Answers. The age verification is a process of data comparison. The database is called Aristotele. Here is described all. Without data verification you can't have an access to adult content. It is a matter of personal choice. You don't need to verify anything to use Second Life. Edit I should mention payment method but as far as I understand you don't want to share personal data so it is not a solution probably.

Fast first advice is setting lower graphics (Ctrl+P--->Graphics) however there can be many reasons and more information would be helpful.

There was similar question once and I got interested if it is possible to use scripts for this without having emailed IM of that person first. I have found a tool on Marketplace. I have no idea if it works but at least you can try searching there.

Hi, If you have Premium account you can get support. Here is support website. Live Chat is available 8am to Midnight PST, M-F; and 8am to 8pm PST Saturday and Sunday. Reffering to your question - please check if you updated graphic card drivers. Could you tell what is your computer equipment? What is your internet connection? Maybe you need to switch off VBO, maybe something else. If you add more information about your computer it will be much easier to advice you.

Hi, Welcome to Second Life. Every avatar has a tag over the head. You can turn off display in Preferences (Ctrl+P---> General). You may also talk about titler which is a kind of attachment. If it is an attachment you need to find it in inventory and talke it off. You can turn on voice in Preferences ---> Sound and Media --> Allow voice communication (I don't have English language on at the moment so expressions can be a little different). You need to find a land where voice communication is allowed and you can use voice. At some lands voice can be turned off and you will not able to communicate. If you have any questions please write them in comments.

What viewer do you use? Have you updated graphic card drivers recently? The high graphics setting may be also an explanation. Set graphic as low and see if it changes anything. (Ctrl+P--> Graphics)

Hi Sadie, Here is some information about lag. Here is more about reducing lag. If you can check how many scripted object are on your land. If there are many scripted objects in the sim in general the lag also can be huge. Maybe there also is some event and there are many people. There can be many reasons.
