Hi Koneko, Welcome to SL Answers. There can be many reasons. It may be graphic card issue or your avatar can wear some scripts. Could you describe what exactly does "changing face" mean? A picture which shows the problem would be very helpful.

Hi Anya, Welcome to SL Answers. Could you explain more what do you mean by "jerking" and "certain sims"? If you have problem just after teleporting to the sim when you teleport over someone's head, pressing Home can help. You will start flying and you will be able to fly away.

Hi Carnie, Welcome to SL Answers. As far as I know 1.23 has no display name setting. You need to change the viewwer if you want to change display name.

As it was adviced please try to see if the same problem is while using official SL Viewer. If the problem dissapears that means viewer issue and you should ask in Phoenix group/forum. If the problem appears also with 2.x viewer please let us know.

Hi wiked, It is good you don't click links in e-mails without thinking first. First of all check who is sending the e-mail and read what exactly is the e-mail about. You can log in directly from http://secondlife.com and you don't need to use the link in e-mail if you don't consider it as safe.

Hi Quebrado, Welcome to SL Answers. Yes I can believe that althought anyone has all tools to escape in every situation in Second Life can stay and be insulted. It depends on the culture, where people are from and how are they educated. Eg if someone is thought to listen to eldery people will believe them also in SL at first. Some people believe other people in general and are really scared when they are treated badly in internet. I don't know what is this person cultural background and what is her age so you definitely should talk with her taking these factors into consideration. You don't need to talk about the situation but it would be good to talk about dealing with such situation in the future as well as learning how to fill in abuse report next time. You can also inform her that depending on the character of abuse she could consider filling abuse report now. You can talk about possibilities of escaping such situations next time eg.: - teleporting out, - logging off Second Life, - blocking other Resident, - ability of distinguish people that behave wrong and to whom cultural patterns which this person has shouldn't be applied, - knowledge about TOS and the list of possible abuses in abuse report, you can read it together and you may ask which abuse she consideres as one which happened. Hi Gristas, Welcome to Forum. Linden Lab is not involved in dipsutes between Residents. You may decide to send abuse report if you find something against TOS. There is also possible to block other Resident and you will not get any IM, obejcts or information in local chat from blocked person. You don't tell what is the reason of the problem. Are they managers of the place where you rent parcel? In that case you need to find out what is the reason so you had better not block them. If the situation is really difficult just move to other place where are nice managers.
