    And yet despite all the times I have been a new poster somewhere, I don’t recall being trolled for it. Mostly I get ignored until I say something to engage with other than insulting regulars. And in order to say something worth engagement, first I listen. I don’t come in with guns blazing.

    Not soon I hope. But yes, I used to be bewildered reading 18th c. literature when some devout character would proclaim that God was awful.

    Yes I love it. Especially the graph. TY. This reminds me of when I would do a little demonstration for students, holding a pencil in one hand and no pencil in the other hand and telling them that in one hand I have a pencil and the other hand I have no pencil, so in one hand I do not have a pencil and in the other hand I do not have no pencil. Whereupon some looked a little stunned. And from that point on when someone said they didn’t have no paper, a chorus of smart alecks congratulated him. And I confess that I am a fan of David Mitchell from Peep Show.

    Like when people say they could care less. Or use double negatives. They go around unknowingly saying the opposite of what they mean.

    I am resolved to not get Covid, and so far I have not. I am always as vaccinated and N95 masked as possible because I don’t want to risk getting Long Covid.

    When I joined in 2007 the SL forum was horrific, so I joined the somewhat less horrific XStreet forum. When that was shut down I posted only in the Merchant sub forum here for a couple of years. (I have since posted off and on here and SLU / VVO.)

    Melatonin does nothing for me. I take Delta 8 THC or CBD gummies or a combo. Legal in Texas now. So far I am holding the fort w ashwaganda, only had to do gabapentin twice. I really don’t like taking anything physically addictive tho.
