This is the biggest challenge of our lifetimes. It won’t be easy, it won’t be painless, but somehow we will get through it together. I am praying for the vaccine that will finally allow us to emerge from isolation etc.

Although I have lots of customers I am friendly with and consider friends, my closest friends I have always met in the forums, where over time I get to know them. I don’t need to even meetup inworld, but if I wanted to I suppose I could.

Okay my other favorite brilliant book, From Dawn to Decadence, By Jacques Barzun, lays out how the last 500 year cycle has evolved. That’s all correct. No sign of missing money that I can tell. It does mean something in their software is pretty screwed up, tho.

I chatted then filed a ticket immediately. No reply yet. Nothing appears in any records that I purchased any of those things.

When I first went into business here I decided it’s still my second life, and I will not sell mean people the right to abuse me. I don’t respond in kind, I just block and ban.

I did not click on the URL but it looks like it leads to a legit product, tho not one I would buy. I looked up the profile of the gift recipient and saw that her partner is a customer. Then I looked up her name in my records and she has bought several things. How that winds up with me getting these emails (there was another a while ago) I have no clue. Oh and it’s not just the wrong email addy, it is addressed to Dear Pamela Galli.

This morning I got three emails, each for orders I supposedly purchased as a gift for someone I never heard of. These don't appear in my transactions. As a precaution I tried to process credit but my password did not work. The support person allowed me to reset my password. He said a few days ago another rep had heard of this same thing. I don't know if this is an issue with email or a scam but I don't see a record of my money being taken from my account. I don't belong to any group chats and have not clicked on any links.

I watched that clip. As usual these days, I cried.

Outdoors is probably the safest place. Unless maybe you roll on the ground or rub up against walls.

I think Bree was just trying to inject a little SL levity into the grimness of RL right now. Let’s be forgiving of any well meaning posts, even if they miss their target.

It’s really not. I would just like to see it used by someone.

Do any of the regular posters in this thread need a place to live? I have a Linden houseboat I am not using, and won’t be.
