  7. Good morning my friends! I posted this new thread today. It is about Hippiestock II. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Discussion-Forum/Hippiestock-II/m-p/940455#M9955. Take yourself over there and and post to get on the invite list. I know it is way too early, but getting a head start, to look for more entertainment, and make a small change. Would like Hippiestock to last 6 hours this time, so more time zones can attend! Far out my groovy friends! Peace!

Thats for any naysayers about the integrity and well meaning of the upcoming event. (and the first one) ;-p Ahh, groovy Maryanne! Yes! Hippiestock is meant to be a love in. The one time of the year, when we set aside out differences, stop the snarking, and fighting, just for a few hours! Also it is all of you groovy hippies that make this a true "Happening". Far out! 13. Hey all you groovy Hippies! I know Hippiestock II is a bit far off. I am thinking January again for the next Hippiestock. I would like to make some changes, for Hippiestock II. I would like the celebration to last 6 hours. This way we can cover more time zones, and we can add some additional performers. Would love to have Lillie and Gypsy out again if they would, but would also like to have some more performers. Like the Woodstock, there where lots of performers, and the celebration went on for some time. So.... If interested in donating your time and talent to the next Hippiestock, post here to be considered. This could be either live performers, or DJ's. I will also send out a notice to the Hippiestock group! Also, post here if you plan to attend Hippiestock II. That way I will have a list of all you groovy hippies, that plan to attend! Groovy and far out! Peace!

Makes more sense huh? I will start a new thread very soon for Hippiestock II. It is a bit early as the celebration will be in January, But I want to start looking now for more performers! Far out! Consider yourself signed up! Woot! Peace!

It's also the longest day of sunlight for places in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest day for cities south of the equator. Enjoy!! Oh yes! Happy Summer/Winter to all of you! HEHE! Peace!

  19. Namenloss wrote: I'm relatively new to SL and I'm not exactly sure how all things work, so here's my first question: I just bought some items from the store, hair, shirts and pants and such. The one furry appearance that I bought worked out fine and I got it to work. But the other clothes and such aren't working, when I try to wear them they look like blocks that say what they are but they don't look like what they are supposed to be. I'm not sure what to do here so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. ~Lozi HI Namenloss! Welcome to SL and to the SL forums! You may have to "rez" the box out and unpack it. Find a place where you can rez things, and drag the item from your inventory, to the ground. Then right click on the item, and select open. Then click on the copy to inventory button. The box will then unpack and the items will go into inventory. You will see the items in you recent items. Then you just put the new items on. I hope this helps! Peace!

  24. Elite Runner wrote: it starts raining again! The wind blows even stronger! I put up my hood on my raincoat as I dash to my car. I rolled up the windows on the Zapax and stayed in the Zapax until the rain stops. Then I saw lightening and thunder, then suddenly I see a tornado approaching from the west. I screamed "TORNADO!" as I drove the Zapax to the north with the tachometer near redline at 6500 RPM and the hybrid status indicator at power level at 250 kW! I stopped just 5 km to the north and I looked through the binoclours I saw an EF5 tornado picking up an avatar on what supposed to be Phillip Linden. He landed just 100 meters in front of the Zapax, picked up by the car's avatar radar. Phil then picked himself up, and dusted the SL dirt from his clothes. He looked a bit dazed, but uninjured. He looks around and shouts! "Where is my Lady" A teleportor beam rezzes around him and he vanishes and reappears in region....
