Most of my weekend was spent buildin, an I don't have much to show of that all, but I can share a couple other things! F'r one - an this actually happened before the weekend, but I did't share it here, there was an SL Kids Choice awards last week. An I was given a lifetime achievement award. Which seems kinda silly, given in SL I'm only 8 years old an all! Anyways, here I am, gettin my award: I also went off an explored Bentham Hollow with my sis. We also dressed up in fairy outfits f'r the trip, too. Cuz we could. Finally, the three of us went off and explored Forgotten City. Which is awful amazing. An that's th' weekend! Hope ya'll had fun too, an have super weeks ahead! Wonderful pics, Mari. ooooooh Fairies! Looks like you had fun:) And congrats on your award. Richly deserved.

  5. /nods. Perhaps, but that's unilikely to occur, IMO. But I imagine many would welcome such a ..dare I say...subforum? In fact, such a section would be quite useful; instead of having inquiring minds splinter off to various 3rd party forums to ask their...delicate questions, they could share their concerns/suggestions here..

Sure, there were a couple of badly behaved people there last night (but they actually were NOT noobs), but it was awesome to watch folks like Maddy and Ossi patiently helping the shiny new members learn how to dance. :smileyhappy: *nods* Yes, it's true, the misbehaving folks weren't new to SL. It was great seeing so many new peeps stop by..and some even stayed for a while!
  7. Nika Talaj wrote: Super! One of the best things about the cartel is the group chat - wonderful resource for general info. Do we have a prominent group joiner there? Sites in the DG do indeed get a lot of newbies stopping by. Is the Cartel HUD working again? Sure would be great if someone of the more experienced folks could stop by when newbies are around. If it's not working, there are other ways to do a similar function, tho scalability is tough to achieve. I don't know about a group joiner, but that's a good idea. About two weeks ago, Slack (the HUD maker, for those who don't know him) sent out a notecard: Some of you have noticed that the Hangout HUD isn't working. It relies on an external server to send data, my hosting provider is moving the physical location of all their servers (from the East coast to the West coast) so we need to wait for this to be completed.I'll keep the group posted about any developments. Last night people were wondering if the servers were being moved via Giant Snails...

  10. I wore these last night to a Mardi Gras party: (I got them off the Marketplace, btw, from !Drakke! - They are called "Mardi Gras" Ankle Boots
  11. Venus Petrov wrote: Here is a pair I just purchased recently. They are COCO's Ruffle ankle boots in black. They come with a HUD for skin matching and sizing. I love the ruffles and laces...very girly! Plus the sexy little zipper up the back...imagine someone tugging that down oh so slowly. oooh, those are gorgeous.
  12. oh wow...where to start? I think the first pair of boots I really loved were my Drawmachine ones (pic's from Sept 2008) They really fit well around my legs, above and below the knee. *goes to look for pics with Bax boots, which I adore* ooh! and ones from J's! and...and...
  13. I really like Analog Dog...because they do such a great job on curly red hair. I don't have a good shot of the style I've been wearing lately, but this is what it looked like, before I got a haircut.
