It's not always an age thing. I've been blind as a bat since I was about 10 although I can read within a few inches just fine. It still freaks my brother out when I push up my glasses to read something.

Amanda can do things I can't like walk without pain. She also is a lot more adventurous, doing things like pirate ship battles and general sailing. She's who I could have been.

I was looking at my old yachts and deciding which one to bring out of mothballs. I think I decided on the Trudeau 12 Metere. Mid 20th century is about as modern as I care to sail. It has to be a wooden ship.

We don't have tanks in the 18th Century but I do have a Pink military vehicle. She's named the Chatte. I use her in battles often, the latest one was Saturday.

I do exactly what Rhonda described and have several base bodies. When sailing in ship battles I try to keep things as low scripts and low complexity as practical. I have a log lag body using a system head but as said in this thread, I use a shape with that bodies outfit for system heads and with my Lelutka head I use the shape I made for that. It's not directly related but I even have outfits for sailing that I've removed the scripts from the Maitreya body. Each of those outfits has to have it's own copy of the body. ( I can't stand going back to the system body even for this.)

That's exactly how I use it. I also send pics i've saved to disk and edited with GIMP to Gyazo to show them to people easily. I just right click on the pic in windows and choose the send to Gyazo option.

I've been using Gyazo for years since it was new. sometime in late 2014. it's gotten much easier to use since then and it's worth the yearly fee for me. I've got a history of the last 5 years in SL on Gyazo. Wish i had it going back to 2006.

Sounds like my first day in SL so long ago. A really helpful guy asked me to sit on this little pink ball while he sat on a little blue one.
