  1. I played around with a hud 360 picture system maybe 2 years ago. It was a pain to use because I had to stitch it together in a separate program after preparing the pics in GIMP or some other edit software. Here is one on a VR hosting site I found back then. Bourbon Street
  2. I love that picture. I'll have to make time to go see it. I just visited a friends exhibit at InterstellART and in an arty mood.
  3. Over the years I've had several renters do this but I never got mad at them. They were funny stories to tell later. There was one lady who would lose some piece of jewelry just about every week. She'd IM me apologizing profusely. I did explain how to take off jewelry without dropping it but she just clicked drop in the menu by mistake every now and then.
  4. This is *ARGRACE* CHIZURU_II . I was sunk in the battle earlier tonight but I did take down two pirates first and my fleet won. This is my low resource avie I use for sailing. system head and scripts removed from maitreya body. My graphics are set low too. I just couldn't resist swapping out my hair for the pic.
  5. From some of the comments, I'm guessing my 742 outfits might be a tad excessive. The way my inventory is "organized" I might not find something If I don't put it in an outfit.
  6. I thought the person with the most outfits wins?
  7. You're right. That's a very nice ceiling fan she has there.
  8. 130? I have that many for Pirate/Navy role play and maybe 3 times that for regular outfits. I might be underestimating.
  9. Maitreya Lara comes with her own hands so they wouldn't be Slink.
  10. were you leaning on the lamp post or sprawled in the street lol
  11. Working on a ranch in white boots? They look great but they wouldn't stay white long on my ranch. LOL
  12. I posted some thing to places when it first came out.. Then LL deleted everything on Places in an early upgrade. I lost interest after that. Maybe I'll look again but I did too much work to have it erased and have trouble trusting it again.
  13. You know I'm the Admiral of a sailing ship navy that regularly fights pirates in SL. *opens the weapons locker and begins to hand out cutlasses* Could we use cannons? I could spare a few small ones.
  14. I like the black and white for this one. The shading and light work better.
  15. Yes. I went through a lot of demos before I found LeLutka Simone got close to my system head look. I've had the same shape and basic look since 2006 and I'm rather attached too it.
  16. I did something similar when I was in college in RL. Thank God no one had a camera.
  17. Something similar happens to me after I've been sailing with lots of region changes. I think it's the same issue that Whirly described above. I'll removed one hud and lose my pants or some other article of clothing. often multiple items but for a while there it seemed to always be my pants. "Friends" have implied that says something about me. LOL. Sometimes when I'm sunk in a battle using a ship with a sails attachment. The sails detach automatically and triggers the removal of attachments. A seemingly related issue is that after one of these battles any appliers I've used on my maitreya body stick. Even if I change my body to another copy of the body I can still see the previous applier. It's local to me, no one else sees it. I just log out and back in after a battle.
  18. That looks great. As a Texan I'll have to visit it. The Antiquity Victorian/pirate role play estate used to have an Alamo build that was pretty good. It was pre-mesh so this looks to be even better. Anty still has a pretty good build of the Texas State Capitol building. I'll have to make some pics there soon. This build you're at is closer to how the Alamo looks today than at the time of the battle. The distinctive camel hump was added to the Alamo in the 1850s about 20 years after the battle by the US Army Corps of Engineers when they rebuilt it for the Army to use as a base. They had seen other Spanish missions with that kind of hump and assumed it had once had one. All the evidence says it didn't though I don't think it's conclusive either way. I believe the earliest sketch they have of the Alamo was in the 1840s when it was in ruins. They also added the windows on the upper floors. During the battle the chapel didn't have a roof. There was a earth ramp inside going to the top where they built a platform for cannons. I believe the side rooms still had a roof but but would have to look it up to be sure. Texas History is required in Texas public schools and I was a history major in college so I'm full of useless trivia. lol I'll have to look up that dress maker. My role play is more late 18th century around the American Revolution period but it's close enough.
