I contacted and she sent the "right item" to me, aka the copybotted one. It still have my store title on the prim descriptions *sighs* I didn't want to flag as "Item not as advertised" because I'll definitely fill a DMCA and I guess I'll need all the evidence I can get, Linden Labs ignores me otherwise. The property rights one just takes me to a wiki :matte-motes-dead: but now that I have the item I can report it. Thanks for the help by the way.

Someone is selling on marketplace one item that includes one of my builds(and my textures). The listing clearly states it's selling my item as part of it. I bought the item but there's something else on the package. Now, what to do? Can I DMCA someone for a picture? I don't know if it's false advertising using my stuff or if she copybotted and put the wrong item on the box by accident.

OMG I hope LL listen to this. This is the reason why I don't add landmarks on my boxes anymore. Cannot bother to update everything whenever I decide to move. Last time I rented a piece of land the place was pretty popular, then I moved. I lost a bunch of customers. The new renter messaged me that lots of people were there visiting trying to find my store and how annoying that was. To make it worse I own a PG store and the new renter rebuilt the land for "mature" stuffs. I had to update hundreds of boxes deleting LM's. And till today lots of my old customers are getting redirected to who knows where... I know lots of people that buy from marketplace are missing the great opportunity of seeing my great store inworld as well *coughs*

I wish there was a proper way to report reviews like this. People who fail to read descriptions; meh that happens too often... I got a freebie rated with 1 star because the person didn't read the info I added on the picture, title, on the listing description AND on the notecard after the purchase, oh and I added the info on the box picture as well. I'm like for realz u srs? This customer didn't even check what she was buying yet took the time to go back there to leave a bad review, lol. I really thought it was some sort of vendetta on a freebie because...really? I wasn't sure what to do so I just left the "feedback" there. Maybe other people that don't read descriptions before buying stuff will see the one star and will actually take their time to read the other info as well. This week I also left a comment on something I purchased, it was a nice quality item, but someone left an unfair review on the seller listing because she didn't take the time to properly use it. Most of the time I don't go back just to leave reviews but I went back there and left 5 stars to remove half of the unfair bad rating.

Voted. The problem with alts (imo) is changing the permissions of our builds... as well as some full perm items we buy with permissions for one avatar only, and we can't share with alts

Check if you put something on the language tab titles while editing your listings. Where it says " English Japanese German French Portuguese"... I always "quick fill" then forget to change these and they pull whatever I added on my previous listings ... when I switch marketplace to my own language I get many listings with the same titles 'cause I forgot to update them on the language tabs

Lasher Oh, apparently you're on the same boat as me... since your lists have unicode chars on the titles all the " ' ' can make your deliveries fail. this COULD be the reason there is a jira for this issue here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4580 I decided to put :**: on my listings because I think it's cute... now I'm getting failed deliveries nonstop, go figure, how am I going to fix 600+ boxes idk

I'm selling my stuff boxed. I'd rather get everything boxed. The folders cause so much clutter and like some people said everyone could always grab a fresh copy from the box instead of breaking original items if they didn't bother to make a copy before. Educating the newbs is the best option i think, like when we start we get all those instructions about how to walk, how to fly, mouselook etc. Opening boxes was never a problem for me 'cus I figured out I could just attach the box like a newb, open the box on edit mode on the contents tab. And then drag and drop the contents to my inventory (works to me if the items are COPY!), even if you can't rez on the land.

To me the face catches more attention... but when I do my ads I put a close-up pic and a small body preview too

Can I delete the boxes on my inventory after I create and submit the folder on marketplace?? I have around 600 items on marketplace... I opened the magic box and copied stuff to my inventory. Then I sent some to the "Merchant Outbox". Now, do I have to KEEP these boxes on my inventory as well? And if I upload a folder do I need to keep that exact folder on my inventory?

*shivers* I hate listing stuff on marketplace... whenever i read the word ''relisting'' i die a lil inside. :matte-motes-sick:

kinda under the same situation here, I always fail trying to find these 'innocent' beds when they have cuddles they tend to have adult stuff ='( but yay I found a cuddle bear at that Lok store so thanks ppl

also, the local browser has an option to "auto-refresh" as soon as there are changes on the image outside SL. =) it's really awesome
