  1. Yes yes, because every person born in a generation acts exactly the same.
  2. Dunno, LL didn't really explain it very well. But I do know that if you travel you have to pay taxes based on where you are, not where you live.
  3. Well, yes... It depends on where you log in. My state doesn't charge tax on digital goods. New York does, if I travel to New York and have to pay my land tier while on vacation, I would be charged tax on it. Just like if you travel to another state/country, you have to pay their local taxes...
  4. That's the local heavy metal hair band version.
  5. I never laughed at you. It was light hearted teasing on my part. It doesnt matter what the generation is called, its just the generation you were born into. No one is insulting you. The term "baby boomer" is derived from the boom in births that took place after the return of soldiers from WWII. Its not an insult. Hell, I grew up listening to the oldies station with my parents. I drive my kids nuts by popping on the 50's channel on Sirius XM in the car when I drive them to school.
  6. Born in September of 73.. As a full fledged member of Gen X I gladly give you an honorary Gen X key card.
  7. 1959 puts you square in the Boomer generation.. 1946-1964...
  8. Ehhhhh, not really.. Make some toast, i prefer oat berry, lightly butter toast, slice an avocado into thin slices and layer it on the toast, enjoy. I sometimes add a poached egg or two if I wanna feel fancy like Applebees.
  9. That is what i said... Late 60's and the 70's would encompass 1965-1980...
  10. The point i was making is that we have 50 states. Each with their own laws after the Federal ones. For instance, each state has their own law on the age of consent, legal driving age, whether or not abortion is legal, gambling laws and many others. Taxes were done by each state due to each states individual needs. California has the highest at 7.25% probably due to the amount of repairs needed from all the earth quakes. Each state was formed/ joined the US at different times. And they were independent "countries" if you will, before joining. Hence the varied laws around the country. Just like the varied laws around the EU. Does that make more sense?
  11. To be completely honest, I like avocado toast. Its good. That fru fru crap Starbucks sells is never entering my mouth, however. If I cant walk up to the counter and order a medium regular coffee without getting a dumbfounded look from the elder teen with enough face piercing's to be afraid of going near a CAT scan, I aint giving them my money.
  12. Yup, you didnt even read the articles you linked.. Most of them were about making changes to how we do things to better the livability of human life on the planet. Using more recyclable goods, better fishing practices so we dont kill off species that are integral to the food chain, getting rid of a toxic substance that only harms the human body. Most of the articles were about single instances, and a few were decades old.
  13. The fact that you didnt fact check any of your "click bait links" and never respond to direct questions speaks volumes about your ability to argue. Apparently you didnt read my reply as i responded to most all of your links with the reasons for the wanted banns. Most of which arent banns at all but replacements. And the beef one was just silly.
  14. The Barbie link is a FB page, nothing about Barbie's there... They want to ban plastic toothbrushes and replace them with ecofriendly versions.. Thats a good thing. Banning deep ocean fishing is a good thing, so many fish species are endangered due to over fishing, using hatcheries and fish farms would be better for everyone. Less mercury in the fish. Feeding feral cats and dogs only causes more feral animal growth. having packs of feral dogs and cats is dangerous. Both can carry a variety of diseases. ONE uni banned beef.. ONE! Hardly a democrat agenda considering it wasnt even an American school! Smoking should be banned in public. It causes nothing but heath issues. Sliced bread was banned decades ago for THREE months during WW2. There is ZERO need for fur in clothing. Styrofoam cups are horrible for the environment. Good luck finding a place to recycle it. You do realize quite a few of the links you posted just a short 30 minutes ago are broken, right? How much checking did you do? Did you even read a single one of them?
  15. Gen-X is the 80's. Most of us graduated in the early 90's. The whole grunge thing was the young millennials. Why does everyone keep saying Xers are the 90's? We were born in the late 60's and the 70's.
  16. Kario has muscles where there arent any on a real human. Aesthetic can be slimmed down to look less hulk and more realistic.
  17. /me raises his hand I'm over 40. I have met some people I would have sworn were my age that turned out to be much much younger. Age is a number, its how old you feel inside that matters. Personally, I feel like I need the retirement home these days, but the mind is still at the Metallica concert at Greatwoods in the 90's or Aerosmith in the Garden.. Wait, I typed that wrong.. Tha Gahdin!
  18. hate verb (used with object), hat·ed, hat·ing. to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest:to hate the enemy; to hate bigotry. to be unwilling; dislike:I hate to do it. verb (used without object), hat·ed, hat·ing. to feel intense dislike, or extreme aversion or hostility. noun intense dislike; extreme aversion or hostility. the object of extreme aversion or hostility. In 15 years of being in SL i have never come across someone who has inspired that kind of rage in me. From everything you have posted i would say to stay out of SL till you deal with your anger issues. Its not a healthy environment for you. Far too many trolls and griefers.
  19. Not a penny more, my state doesnt charge sales tax on digital goods.
