  1. Sounds fun! I'm in the area exploring new goodies.
  2. I'm sorry, let me make sure i'm understanding this correctly. Are you noticing a trend near holidays where the marketplace is "broke" and then after holiday has pass is "fixed." ??
  3. Phishing scam targeting Firestorm users now being alerted If you have a long SL history, you will be able to see through this dialog immediately, but those who are not used to it should be careful. There is no such thing as the viewer asking for a password in the dialog w ( ̄▽ ̄;)

  5. And then they turn around and attack you for infringement on your original art. Maybe in the future someone will invent a program artists may use to upload their art to to put in special watermarks that will become active anytime a snip or copy is performed to the original. Those images can be used for profiles and galleries. Philip Rosedale said recently "We have a bad time coming, in the next say 10 years" "We don't yet have machines that are 1000s of times smarter than us that could help us not hurt each other, but we do have machines powerful enough to help us hurt each other.
  6. In case anyone is interested in how physics works in second life. Here's little simple experiment. On your land or in a sandbox rezz a cube from the build tools; you may need to right click it and press edit for the build tool window to open. With the build tool window open find the tab that says object and place a check mark in the physical field box. Now when you bump the cube it will move. Before it would not move. If you would like to make it heavier or float go to the features tab and adjust the gravity setting. Note: negative numbers will cause object to float. Start very mimimal with negative gravity does not take much. If you set gravity to 0 it give you better idea of what it's like without gravity, it will not do anything after settings are changed unless you physically push the object, if gravity set to zero. If gravity set to -0.1 it will move. Fun to play with and experiment. I used to build contained containers to work inside of so my pieces would not fly all over. Sometimes containment would not work so had to have double containments. Fun times.
  7. I have to give it up for Barbie, the gal has great taste. I want to be on that plane.
  8. With permission (because I always ask) from a very friendly stranger, within the second life community; in random location in world allowed me to photo him for this project. Ty.
  9. I can't get enough of your scarecrow. It looks like a movie poster. It makes me want to stop and learn more about where you come from. I would visit second life If I saw that.
  10. that's nice photo, very realistic, septum jewelry is cool! it's neat how the program edits all the background stuff and refines the edges.
  11. I noticed this recently interview with Philip Rosedale regarding AI. It's awesome leaders are taking this seriously.
  12. LOL, very nice. In the emulator there's a little button with pencil that will change wording.
  13. woops. we're kind of talking as we go, it's pretty new and i'm sure there's going to be way more coming. Can we not fight over one thing for once, do you think that is possible? Delete it, move it, hide it. I really don't care. It was fun while it lasted.
  14. is it just me or does it look like Barbie and Ken are traveling through a region crossing at the end of the Barbie Movie's latest trailer release?
