  1. I like the way the calendars are setup, wonders if anyone has ever requested a community center to be a sandbox? The builder users would appreciate fun new interesting places to build and have fun. If only for 5 hours on a timer or 7. I don't plan on getting virtually married anytime soon and the venues are little empty, this would be great way to get more traffic to nurture and grow a large part of the community. I think building in the tree houses would be fun and the castle.
  2. How cool! I like the layout of the homes and the home information boards. So much I like about this. Here's a few quarks. The boat house info board intro makes it sound like the house boat can be moved. Might consider changing wording to be something like water toys or take your personal water toys, launch your toys. Something like that might prevent confusion. The final path what's next. the destination guide button loads a blank page using the linden viewer browser and external browser. Don't want to over do the word premium makes it look like your selling something. products should sell themselves. I would add more information about free to all users in the community calendar area maybe. Everyone is welcome does not require premium membership. I would add the premium gift area to the area showing premium offerings. My main concern is how are new people going to find this area. Destination guide floater? Big demo button on map?
  3. I love this, reminds me of band, sometimes the teachers would take forever to leave offices, I think they enjoyed stuff like this too?.
  4. im pretty much a noob, i think i saw something like this being used on a social media platform o well. I'm learning to enjoy drawing with real things that do not require technology that requires power.
  5. have you ever wanted to move to Roswell, NM? Feels great to be inspired to do something creative for a purpose now. end result should be to have direct contact with the stars. even though it could be used in slightly satanic ways. lol satan sells sometimes.
  6. this That's brilliant. Modify a dance hud to have a different texture face looking like official message. want to allow this person to animate you would be replaced with you will be logged out soon enter your password to remain logged in. the password is then sent somewhere somehow. Should be able to track those transmissions. If ll/sl considers pop up notication badges to prevent those being duplicated the official pop up would need to display the pop up like a sub pop up to make sure it is legit.
  7. I get what your saying and I agree i'm say way, but new people don't know any better, you see the rage with new users when this happens over and over and over again and sl wonders why they can't retain new users. I guess it's a way to weed out the weak, I have no idea why the things are setup the way they are. If SL is not willing to change maybe someone out there looking to start something large will factor these problems in.
  8. abuse can't be an excuse all the time. it was just an idea I will think of others.
  9. that is why the review process is also important it will show users who the griefers are. Review: This place is stupid Owner: We're sorry you feel that way, please let us know how we can smarten it up. Review: Go to hell. That would tell me the place is legit and proceed with exploring the region.
  10. Your definition of a "positive result" apparently involves spamming regular SecondLifers with endless "Tin-Foil-Hat-Club" warnings, every time they sit on a scripted sofa and get a pose menu popup, or teleport to a store or a club, or try to buy anything, annoying spam that will drive off more users than it retains. I wish I knew why I cared so much as well.
  11. If this information was on the teleport screen before teleported prolly be handier than being new somehow magically figuring out how to do all of that before getting banned and alienated from the platform.
  12. The reason is to retain universal users, without them we will not exist. Currently users are pretty much blind when they enter a region, they have no idea of rules until they are banned. New users are showing up to places landing on scripted objects being spammed prolly targeted for fraud and rejected. Are those people going to want to spend time or money here? Also on the teleport screen should be made clear something like this "This Region is "owned" by another resident. The following rules have been established. I don't see any better solution to this perpetual problem. I can not simplify it any future. It is the least complicated solution if positive results are desired.
  13. And! the teleport screen could also display region reviews.
  14. A region description screen could pop up giving potential visitors more information about your region and if they agree and are ready to teleport proceed, If you need to change or disagree do not proceed with teleport. SL has all the right things going on they just need to clean it up a bit.
  15. that sounds like descrimination, if not noted that there is active dress code requirements for region made clear initially.
  16. If I payed hundreds of $ per month for a region I would want people to visit not repel them and stir up negative energy. Who knows why people do what they do, some get on a power trip and they basically pay to block people all day and try to ruin people's days. I feel sorry for people like that. "it's my land and you are not invited, it's my land and you are not invited." I avoid places like that. Honestly the place sounds more like a nightmare than a fantasy.
  17. No. See the MP reviews. "I didn't read the product's description, I didn't try the demo, and I don't know how to use SL. Awful product - 1*" and then some creators trying to explain those things to them in replies that most likely remain unread forever.. Not to mention some language barriers. Plus a whole field for leaving fake reviews on a place that someone might dislike for some reason. This is why it's important to have built into the review process a way owners can respond and then after resoultion is met the original reviewer may have opportunity to update review. This is common in real life and appears to work. Example: Reviewer: This product does not fit my avatar and no one responds for help Owner: Reached out to buyer for resoultion. Reviewer: resolution reached great service.
  18. Maybe regions need review system? I don't travel as openly as I used to. If I could read reviews on a region, I would travel there. Maybe only residents with payment information on file can review and a way the region own can respond to reviews. For example. Review: This region descriminated against me because I have a dark skin avatar. Region Owner: We apologize for the misunderstanding and we have members from all mesh skin tones and all are welcome. We will follow up with the reviewer and come up with ways to fix.
