    I don't know why we can't set abandoned land as a home location? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There are some good underwater spots I would use... Hyles is a quiet infohub and I've never seen any drama there, if that helps!

    I remember that from last year! I was flying around inside, it was like Freebie Galaxy 🙂 If anyone wants to feel like a tiny, check out Ocean Restaurant...I can't remember how I ended up there, but the chairs are taller than my 5.9ft avatar But the good side is you don't get that effect where you walk upstairs and around a corner, and your avatar suddenly disappears and all you see is wall or ceiling...

    I also used to host, and can relate to ALL of this! It can be a lot of work. But that makes it so much more important to find a place with cool people you can get on with and nice VIPs instead of chasing tips, IMO. I saw some drama in a couple of clubs, like two DJs fighting over whose promotion pic was bigger 😮... I retired around 2014 though...well, I shortly quit SL afterwards anyway. I also got paid to help someone to redecorate their store, resizing item displays. And I did Pay Per Visit, going to all these sims and running around for three minutes, just to hit a cone at the end and get 3L I sold a few T-shirts and scripts (helped by a pro scripter) but not regularly enough to call them professions...I also worked as the greeter at a casino run by a Dutch guy, who was really funny. I never made any tips but he used to pay me to stand behind a bar with a cocktail shaker and welcome everyone before they lost all their money on Zyngo and 7Up! He'd always say the same thing when he paid me, "A rat must have her cheese"...🙂 I think he just felt sorry for me as I didn't really do anything when I was there except chat rubbish with a few people, but it was money for Marketplace! 🤑 I don't know if I can say his name here...but I hope he is doing well! The job I wanted but never got...I applied to work as a waitress at this absolutely beautiful outdoor Asian restaurant RP, I REALLY wanted to serve meals and drinks to SL families and make up menus for them! But they never replied to my application 😿

    About praying...I think it depends, if I could practically do something to help, I wouldn't just say "Oh, I'll pray for you instead!" I was raised Catholic, so I grew up praying for people anyway, it never seemed unusual. But for example, I worked with someone a few years ago and we stayed in touch, even though we probably only meet once a year or speak 3-4 times a year, and she's had a major eye operation this week...and is a Buddhist...so I said "sending you cosmic lucky vibes 🍀". It's just a way of letting them know you're thinking about them, but I do try to wish positive energy their way. I know if I was in that situation I'd be scared, and maybe the words wouldn't mean much, but I'm not sure what to say when I can't do anything physically to help the outcome..."hang in there" seems worse to me? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Sounds like a nightmare! 😬 I don't know if it's the same where you are, but under UK law a landlord has to pay for everything when it comes to pest control, including alternative accommodation and expenses while you're out of the house due to a fumigation...might be worth asking your housemate to look into that.

    I LOVE thunderstorms, I actually find them quite soothing! 🙂 But I have quite sensitive hearing, so popping balloons, or drunks yelling outside at 2am, or police cars suddenly switching on their sirens when they're a metre away, all make me jump out of my skin 😦 A few months ago I was walking to the shops and there was a massive traffic jam, and a bus driver beeped his horn SO loudly that everybody jumped. Some man on the pavement went bananas...he looked like he wanted to kill the bus driver! He stood there, glaring at the bus, lol. Then he turned around and carried on walking...but the driver hit the horn again, and the man spun around and ran up to the cabin and started screaming "STOP DOING THAT!" It was really loud though 😐 I think he was in shock...

    Same here! I love watching trials...watched most of the Johnny Depp one and all of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial last year. But I also love watching poker tournaments...was hilarious when Will Kassouf used to play... I even watched Caught In Providence during the lockdowns, lol. I know now - if you get a speeding ticket in Providence, just say "I was rushing a birthday cake to the hospital for a children's party!" and the judge will let you off 😎

    It's weird! I find Bhut Jolokia so much more intense than Carolina Reaper, even though it's not supposed to be...also, in the UK, vindaloos and phaals are seen as the most extreme curries you can get in restaurants, but I've had both and they weren't that bad...but I once had a meat kata masala with fresh red chillis, and every bite was agony, I couldn't even talk because it was like waves of facial pain 🥵

    I feel for you @Silent Mistwalker and @kali Wylder...a relative was diagnosed with lupus and has also had to cut out chillies and curries 😐

    I guess so...I am quite interested in it, though! I wouldn't say I am a witch but I definitely believe there are things that science can't explain...I suppose doing a spell or saying a prayer to God are quite similar. Do you think people could use their avatars as voodoo dolls?

    Crystal is another nice sauce from there! My favourite Tabasco is the Scorpion brand, but they're harder to find, I normally have to order it online.
