sometimes if this happens to me reading the reviews on the creators other items can help me work out if i have been tricked into buying an empty box or if its a mistake. also i read the contents every time i purchase something as Pussycat suggested!

if someone is stalking me with numerous alts i think its fine to work out who there alts are. i had a nice tidy list of alts to give linden labs with my report. honestly i wont let you guys bully me and make me leave the forum for answering a question. this is a question and answer forum if you want to jump on people because you think only your answer is correct that is your karma helping people is mine. who knows what situation the original poster is going through, shame on all of you really.

something quite effective for doing this is firestorm preferences>chat>visuals (right down the bottom) fade chat after 20 seconds 40#lines (if you turn both right down you really don't see much local chat for long at all)

I am stating the fact i quite often see people come on here ask a question and no one really answers it, sorry for actually answering a question. (not sure how this is relevant but) I have read the SL forums EVERY DAY FOR 5 YEARS ive been in SL 12 years during that time i read the forum sometimes, i have answered millions of questions inworld it is totally irrelevant to the forum. perhaps you are upset because you have a lot of alts awesome song @ Gregorian Chant

i simply answered the OP question i have been reading this forum for 5 years and you guys seem to not like doing that on this forum.

no actually normally they log in them in one after the other, its a proven method i have found piles of alts this way

One way you can work out someone is an alt. Is rez a online tracker. Add the two avatars you suspect are the same person and sit back and watch.

Much of what i have learned in Second Life is useless outside of Second Life. I'm not sure why you are against in viewer tools.

I think you will find everyone is for this, including me. Its really annoying having to learn blender, maya or marvelous designer to make a dress for second life. It it is preventing creativity. It is no longer the would you can imagine that you can create, you can only create it if you have the software and the time to learn it. by the way i have been creating clothes in SL for 12 years

one time i had linden labs disabled scripts on mainland until they could work out what is causing lag, its quite possible they disabled physics until they work it out.
