So I am still a newbie when it comes to editing photos but thanks to this thread and your posts and advices I am gradually retaining a little knowledge and learning... a little. I am aware how noob this picture looks but it made me laugh and I'm still giggling. A lady invited to an intimate birthday with a special man but the joke is on her 😂

I wasn't sure if I should post this in another thread as it is quite a specific idea that could be lost in the Themes threads or Open Water Sailing thread. Some years ago we used to have The Weather Channel present in Second Life which I understand was an independent business that maintained a few Sims that included surfing and downhill ski-ing. The Weather Channel left Second Life I'm guessing 9 or 10 years ago but I recall the sims being immensely popular. I 'learned' to surf there and was myself very disappointed when the sims closed. Would there be any interest in asking the moles if they could recreate something along those lines for residents and guests?

I do enjoy sailing around Bellisseria but don't do it too often, am usually on a jetski or power boat and do see a lot of others doing the same. Usually by the time they have have said hello as they speed past me and I have stopped to type hiya back, they are in the next Sim, lol. Occasionally I choose a more leisurely ride 😊

A much anticipated day off work and catching up on exploring. Currently at Cica Ghost's Donkey installation. She has a great talent for atmospherics I think.

So with apologies for having on the same outift, I have come 'home' and sharing a picture with my three 'pets', my foxes. I adore these animals, second pic is of my three foxes who come to my front yard each evening RL 😊

I decided to go out to have a look for the new Victorian theme Linden Houses this evening but didn't get far, it was looking good ... until I hit the end of the end of the road ... so far. I was hoping my penny farthing might help but I'll have to be patient 😉

I don't like to ask for help but having spent three hours searching the four 'candles' (classic Two Ronnies sketch there for those in the UK! 😄) that I have thus far found and investigated I can feel the will to live beginning to drain from my perfectly formed Lara body. Indeed it has crashed twice having filled its cache from flying round the continent inadvertently setting off several Linden Homes Security Systems along the way (sorry!!!!!). Fortunately the not so perfect body behind Evarne was there to pick up the pieces. If someone were to be able to just advise if it is at one of the places I have been to (will say in IM) I would be grateful. I started at the place Patch posted on his Flikr and set off in the direction he was facing for my long journey. On a lighter note, I have now reached Land's End and the very last home I have come to in my 'candle' search I have decided to exercise squatters rights. That means it is mine, yes? ... 😍 Absolutely gorgeous! What beautiful work, and with a sunset too. .

I get that on mine when my graphics are at the lowest setting. Try upping it just a smidge in preferences

Nika explained it quite well it comes down to sheer volume of premium accounts wanting the new homes, and many new accounts being created to get the new homes, like mine (and yours).

I came over to visit, so excited to meet Santa like everyone else, sit on his knee and get a Christmas wish 😃 I was asked to wait outside as there was some question as to whether I had been a good girl. It has been a while now, it is not looking good 😄

Please do not lose faith. More properties are being worked on, the moles are working as hard as they can for us while maintaining quality. I don't think any of us who have been lucky so far got our home quickly, it took days, weeks and for some months to get the Linden Home they love. With more themes being hinted at there may be house boats abandoned in future opening them up to those wanting one, like yourself. You might even change your mind while you're waiting and grab something else and want to keep it. I bought premium myself for the new Linden Homes and I didn't get mine right away but I am so glad I persevered It will be worth the wait I promise

I know this doesn't help your immediate issue but in the instructions for the lights the notecard says to rez the set closer to your residence than your neighbours' , I am assuming that this means the lights will attach to the nearest house/boat/etc that matches the type it will snap to. If you know your neighbours and you live close enough to each other you may be able to test it while you are waiting for a response to your ticket?
