1 second Orb timing, is it necessary
Sammy Huntsman replied to Milissa Rossini's topic in General Discussion Forum
I thought it had to be 15 seconds maximum, before it kicked you out. Especially for people who are flying on mainland and accidentally hit one of them. -
I mean with them hiring people to do meshing and texturing. Specifically for Avatars, skins and makeups. I hope they have a new SL mesh body. Kinda like the mesh bodies today.

I was saying that during an interview with Justin Trudeau he admitted to admiring the Dictatorship style of China, when it comes to their environment. The fact that a running PM admires a dictatorship is absolutely scary. I mean Republicans are allowed to have a conference. That isn't scary. What do you want to happen exactly?

Well not everyone goes on a rampage or retaliates as they do. But I mean societally men and boys are taught to hide their feelings. So if you get bullied you are not to talk about it and just move on. I am a trans MTF and throughout school I was called a girl or a baby for talking about my feelings or telling people I was getting bullied. It never made me snap, as I had my dad to go to to talk about it. But I don't know what would happen if my dad wasn't in the picture, and that scares me.

There is something definitely wrong with the US government, if you need a ministry of truth to basically regulate what happens on the internet. I mean we deal with that here in Canada, us Canadians are getting fed up with Trudeau. I mean yeah he has done some good. But some of his bills come off tyrannical.

What I mean parents can't solely rely on TVs tablets Computers or Consoles to do that for them. I mean the number of kids with devices is ridiculous. I am not saying watch them 24/7. But make sure they monitor what they are doing on their devices. Put some sort of app or program that does it or blocks them from certain sites. I am not blaming the lack of parenting to the reason for Mass shootings. And actually, Norway tops the charts for mass shootings. But that is beyond the point. Parents seem to rely on devices to watch their kids.

I have it check marked but I had to go through a whole dang quiz to even upload mesh. Looks like people don't even read the Intellectual property policy. I mean that wasn't my point. It's the fact that people blatantly use it, and if you call them out they have a hissy fit and tell you to mind your own business. Well, I would, but you are following the rules and basically cheating your way to success by doing that. I think that is a very unfair advantage you are taking. As there are a few companies that get into big-name events and I haven't heard hide nor hair about them before.

But here is the thing, parents don't watch their kids as it is. And kids will find ways to access certain content, especially if they use their parents credit card. And since debits that now play as visas as well. 16 year olds can bypass adult walls by using that. So what is wrong with showing off your ID so LL knows you are an adult. Credit cards seem to not be enough. That all being said, the internet is like the wild west without any of these regulations in place. I would be be fine with showing my provincial ID to verify I am an adult.

I don't know if I said this before. But people who basically grab a big name brand texture from google and use it on their product. Like for example, I see tonnes of Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton items in SL. When last time I checked that was a big no no from SL and when you take your mesh quiz thing. They ask you if you the Nike symbol in any way shape or variation is okay. And the answer is no.

I don't think they will but heavy regulations or ban adult content all together. I think that these regulations will only take affect in public areas, like mainland or even bellisaria. Not on our own private lands. I do think regulations would be good finally, maybe some regulations on workplace safety. Like how we have it RL. So creators aren't working 14 hours a day like small mass production factiories. I don't think however that what our famous novel typist says that violent video games or violent movies, equates to violent kids. There is no correlation there. Actually studies found the exact opposite. I think having laws like in real life is good and healthy for a metaverse, I mean right now with how the internet and SL is. Its like the wild west. Lol

Yes, I mean MFA when you log in to SL on the Web. I mean that would be the safest route, instead of specific pages.

Biggest Pet Peeve, they roll out MFA for when you are logged in and need to make changes to your account. Or now will be rolling it out for the viewer. Why can't they do it on the initial login page? I would feel much safer with that extra layer of protection in place.

Who cares what people call things? Like I mean some people say store, some people say shop. Get over it. Lol. I mean Canada and the united states both say pop but some states call it soda. I mean its up to preference really.

That and stores need better organization in world. Like some stores just jumble up their new products in with older products and you are going, I just want to see the new stuff I liked. Not have to walk around the store to find it.
