Poseidon Peak is also from the April 15 release. It’s my dream come true. I’m glad I got it before Ebbe Tide came out. I would have been sad to miss that release.

I did see the pic you posted and that is a fabulous location!  I am glad you go it, I know you have been trying for awhile to get your dream spot.  I try not to be sad when I miss a release in a region I like as I know that more are going to be made and we will have even more chances in other regions.  And there will be new themes too, which I am so excited about!

  2. @Elora Lunasea  That's lovely.  I went there to check it out.  I think Ketran was in the first release.  Some people claim they don't want anything in the "older regions", however these regions that were first released are just as nice.  I got a really nice beach one in Edwina that far surpasses anything I have now (other than the houseboat on my other alt) and I am especially happy because my main got it.   The front of the house faces the ocean, but I don't care, that for me is not an issue.

    Enjoy your new digs!

Thank you Kitten. I don't know how many times I've said, "I'm keeping this forever", and then released it. I let my home at Carumba go to find a Victorian, and kind of regret it, but it might be just a silly moment I'm going through. I think I will keep the Victorian home for some time, see what happens, and if I still don't spend time there, will find someone else for her (it's a very 'her' house)

Thing is you don't know what the new place is going to be like until you get there and stay put for awhile.  Sometimes you feel it and sometimes you don't.   Or you think it is a good location, but maybe not for you, but you think you should stay cause people will think you are nuts for giving it up.   I like the new Victorians, but I have a harder time decorating them, most likely that is because they are new.  So i am going to keep it for a while longer.

Also I think as long as I have alts getting houses, I will continue to see what is out there.  There are a few houses I do kind of regret giving up, but at this point, they are gone.   Right now I am just going to have fun with this.  Some days I feel silly that I have 4 alts all with homes, but I am enjoying them.

...................I was never really sold on BOM from the beginning though so I may be the exception. Honestly I don't have the BOM viewer and I don't see a ton of odd looking folks out. I usually derender people the minute I get to a busy sim so I don't see them anyway LOL.    Mostly I am out by myself taking photos or building.

I haven't even looked at BOM yet.  I don't really feel a need for it at this point.  I don't wear any extra makeup and I don't have any old skins or system clothing that I want to wear.

  5. I would say both, but right now I am enjoying the homes I have right now.   I have a houseboat,  my beach house, my forest house and my victorian.  I just love all 4, they are all unique and give me a different feel.  At this point I am happy with all the parcels I have and I am not going to try rerolling any of them at this point.   I am taking a break from hopping around for now.

I don't think I will be able to put roots down totally until i see all the themes because I am really enjoying the new shiny.  I know darn well when the new themes come out I am going to want to try them.

    Yep...

Pretty soon gonna be on month 2 of owning 2 identical houseboats that I STILL cannot pick between...

"What I give up this one, and a bad neighbor moves in next to that one?"

"What if I give up this one, and decided I really did like view X more than view Y?"

    /SLerProblems...

I was wondering if you still had both, hard picking isn't it! 🤣

That is exactly my problem...each one is more lovely than the last, for different reasons, and I cannot decide. 2 traditionals and three victorians...what if I like the new theme when it is introduced? I can't afford to keep this many premiums...maybe there's  a support  group...

I hear you I have 4 places, 1 houseboat, 1 trad by the beach , 1 trad that is in a green area, and a victorian.   I love them all!  at the end of the day I will only keep two, most likely my main who has the beach one and the houseboat my alt has cause it is by water and in a green area, ............................................sigh.  Yes I think we need a support group.

I am more bothered that it looks crooked!  Personally stuff like this doesn't really bother me.  I mean really everyone has their own interpretation what belongs on a campground and what is in theme.  People travel with their horses.  Some think of the campers as just campers and some think of it as an RV park.  If people are really concerned about something then AR it and quietly move on.

Not everyone is going to decorate the same and not everyone has taken Interior/exterior design 101.  I have lived and live beside people that have eccentric and quirky taste and even though it is different there is nothing in the covenant stating you have to have decorating skills and can't be quirky.  I live beside someone who is by the beach and they have a green prim and evergreens.  Who cares?  That is their interpretation of their parcel and they probably don't want to hop around trying to get another one, not everyone has an alt or is playing GOH.  As long as their stuff isn't on my parcel I don't care what people do on it.  And if they really have something I don't want to see I just derender it.

I am also not really sure how I feel about all the pictures being posted making fun of others.  Which is basically what we are all doing when we post these pictures.  And I have been guilty of laughing at some of them.  I would hate to think that someone might see their home here and maybe it was their first new camper/trad/HB/vic after having an older Linden home for years and now the experience for them seems tainted because they can't live up to others decorating expectations.  JMO.

There anyway to get a new LL home, let's say like the Victorian Style for instance? I tried the refresh thing and it blocked me giving me a limit. So is there a way to get one in world if there is one available? Not sure how to get one because the only ones showing are the Campers. :(

You will have to wait till someone abandons one.  Lots use auto refresh.

But we have you covered here, go here and get some tips on how to get a new LH with auto refresh lots of info on this other thread:

Thank you for the replies... so I presume the best route is to first, upgrade, then be in place to move when the right home/land comes up... be it new or an abandoned one?

    Cheers

Yes you just have to upgrade and try to get a new home.

Also here is another great thread with lots of tips:

how does one stalk a home?  Stand on it for awhile.. I'm lost, here.  I'm sure it's that I haven't been paying attention.  Bad Nikki!

Stalking usually means you have found a region with a parcel that is totally what you want.  However you have no clue when it is going to be released so sometimes you spend time there seeing if there is any restarts going to happen or any lindens around.  You want a chance to get the parcel so bad you spend most of your time there with your main or an alt.  At least that is what I think it means 🤣

I've been curious about Auto's on the Street.  Do you know what was said or have a source link?  I suspect it's  because it would have to be linked to an anchor prim ends up on public land?   Does look cool, but rules are rules.  I keep one on my own driveway, but I am curious if that's the reason, thanks.
