    also check out this thread here for tips on using auto refresh to get a home too.  People release homes at all times of the day and night and they don't always post here.

    I would never ban someone for this, it really is an easy fix.  I have a lag/prim counter in the water underneath my houseboat and sometimes it is on when I log in.  I find it amusing.  I am always having to turn it off.  My place is open to everyone, I don't care who goes on my property and I don't care if people use my things.  Parcel is set to privacy if you want to have fun on the houseboat.  :D

    Don't give up.  You will never get one if you don't keep trying.  You have to be a bit persistent.  Also pay attention to when the log homes come out.  I can almost guarantee you that you will see an influx of people giving up sea side trads & vics and great locations for houseboats.

    You didn't break anything my alt got this one at 7:11:02!  Wow this one is really nice.  I am seriously considering keeping it and giving up my property in Edwina(all sand)  right by the water.  I don't even mind that there are houses in front of me, I can still see the water and I have my HB for direct water views anyways.  Plus this one has some green behind it and minimal fencing.  Decisions!

    You wouldn't be human if you weren't a little jealous or bitter.  Even I get jealous sometimes that someone got a property I really wanted.  Which just goes to show how successful these new houses are.  Everyone wants them. 

    I blame the moles for all the house hopping cause everything is just so gorgeous and they have done a spectacular job and you want to try all different kinds of homes.  At least I do!

    There is a venting thread you can go to, I can give you the link if you like.  There is nothing wrong with wanting a nice location, which I am assuming you mean by "decent",  so I get the frustration.  Don't forget there are also multiple posts giving people a heads up on waterfront parcels they are abandoning as well.  The best properties I have gotten were abandoned ones.  I work too during the day and I still manage to get some pretty good properties.   I miss out on new releases a lot and even if I manage to get one it is rarely the one I wanted or it is one where I am surround by houses which isn't the best for my computer.

    Don't throw this thread out yet as it could still be useful to you,  and so can the people posting in this thread, in other words don't cut off your nose to spite your face.  Like I said people post here all the time giving people a heads up on nice locations they are releasing and you have just as good of a chance of getting them as anyone else.  Keep trying and I am sure you will get one that meets your standards.
