Try VCO for the mesh head? For some reason I feel like it may be their mesh head. As for the outfit, try COCO and Pixicat.

I suppose you're right. I don't know much about software. I know about hardware. Why shouldn't I play to my strengths and see if I can help that way? That's all I was trying to do. Hopefully your suggestion works for this person!

It sounds like an issue with your video card or your setup in general. If no one can answer your question, chances are it is because no one has experienced this and it may be specific to your PC. Maybe it is time for a PC upgrade? EDIT: What kind of operating system do you have? What are your computers specs? Is it a laptop or a PC? All of these questions may better help us, help you.

Maitreya has the option for different neck sizes in the HUD. Is this not the case for the Tonic body? I am unfamiliar with that particular body and how the hud works.

Really it is up to you but to point you in a good direction to start, what kind of body type would you like? For more slender figures Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya may be what you are looking for. I will say, for more curvy figures, I have been able to manipulate my Maitreya body quite well. The Slink Hourglass shape is also perfect for a curvy figure. I will never recommend TMP. They are just not my cup of tea but would be an option for a slender figure. Personally, Maitreya has been by far my favorite as a TON of content creators have made clothing and accessories specifcally for the body. Happy shopping and don't forget; DEMO, DEMO, DEMO!!!

It may beneficial to look into updating to a mesh body first before buying a head. You can always keep the legacy head with a mesh body and still "update" that way.

Use gyazo to take screenshots instead. Then you could compare that way.

The Catwa bento head (Catya) is actually very customizable. I bought it even expecting to not have many options but I was pleasantly surprised. I would suggest getting demos of all bento heads and try making a shape that you like. I saw that someone else listed a whole bunch of stores but one more is Genesis Labs. They just recently released their bento head.

I play because i like to fix up my land and avatar. My best friend live 1000 miles away from me and this is the only way we can "hang out". Sure we play other games but theres nothing like SL where it can feel like you're closer than you actually are. Hope this helps!

Maitreya and Slink are probably the 2 leading bodies in SL. Maitreya is my go to.

I think it should be fairly obvious to you based on what you said about a lack of items for men that there is the chance that someone else can have a similar style to yours. There is not much in the way of mesh objects for men to choose from. I have a male alt that I draw inspiration from bloggers and also from other avatars in world. The marketplace is a little too disorganized for males as well. My only options for updating my alt's look are blogs, events, and other residents. I can understand the frustration of seeing someone that looks EXACTLY like you, but its unfortunately unavoidable for others to have items that you own.

I would say 7ft is the average but i could be wrong. My avatar (female) is 6ft which is somewhat small on sl. My male avatar is 7ft and seems to be right where it needs to be aesthetically. I would say if you're worried about it. Go to a place with a high male population. The Men's Department is a shopping event catered to men. If you want, you can always head there and compare your height to others' avatars.

People are less friendly, that's for sure.
