  1. Hello Folks, many thanks for all the advice. This is what I made out of your suggestions so far. Still, work in progress stp. Maybe the face is a lil too old One problem I have is the neck between the Lelutka head and a new Belleza body. I can't find a suitable neck fader.
  2. Hello fellow residents, I want to create an older lady (50 to 60) using mesh and bento. Can anybody suggest which head, body, and skin I should use? Google didn't help much with that. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
  3. Joe, you need to post a slurl to the parcel or to the Bravestone office.
  4. You do actually have a hobby. Embellish on it, found a group for it, find like-minded people. Maybe even create some sort of themed place for it. Start a blog for it. All that would really keep you very busy!
  5. Ok, so ist a bit for registrations and more on purchases within the first 60 days. Which basically means I need to: 1. Write more content targeting new users 2. Get those to signup for a newsletter and/or a group 3. Promote SL Products to my new users (i.e Premium membership) 4. Write additional content relevant to premium members (Land purchase, Linden Homes etc.) Sounds like a plan. When can I start? Ish?
  6. Hello Darcy does this mean, there won't be a commission for sign-ups/registrations but only for actual purchases? I assume that means purchases such as premium accounts and Linden-Dollars? In that case, are there any incentives we can use to make them buy stuff within the first 60 days? You got me on the list for alpha?
  7. There is no difference between abandoning rental or property. In both cases you lose what you have paid in tier or rent. But with a property you have at least a chance to get some money back. Plus on a property I have full estate rights, on a rental I depend on the service quality of the estate agent for a lot of things.
  8. We had some really good fun that day. Thanks to Jess, Lumi and Rachael for the idea and organization.
  9. Join us for some spooky fun at Candy's. This is an open event for everybody. Membership is NOT required. See you at the hotel bar. Taxi: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Puzey/225/81/4004
  10. I have 4096 on Zinga for Takeda Media. Purchase price: 10000 L$ Monthly tier: 22 US Another one for Candy's Hotel Purchase price : 4200 L$ Monthly tier 35 US Total cost including premium fees: 67 US /month (not counting the weekly stipend) More then enough prims No VAT (EU VAT number provided) and the invoices tax deductible as business expense (registered ltd) More rights on the parcel then a tenant and not having the risk that my landlord goes bankrupt or kicks me out.
  11. No. Renting on the mainland is simply not a good deal. Why would I rent a parcel , when I can simply go premium, buy a parcel on an auction and pay tier to LL? Pitch me. Convince me.
  12. By now, its called Lone Pine Mall. Just sayin.
  13. Hi Darcy, sounds exciting. Is it already decided, what the deal exactly would be for affiliates? I am already thinking about gearing my content (stories) to target new residents. Carol
  14. All right! Now what? Do they have legs or not after all?
  15. Nalates, personalized search results based browsing history can be easily switched off for organic search results, not for ads though. I totally agree that cross-channel-marketing is the thing at the moment. I have been to an OM conference recently where i attended a speech of one of the Telekom Digital Managers about the future of Online Marketing. Cross channel and augmented reality was a big part of it. Imagine you go to an airport, where you often see those digital ad-bords. In the future they will show ads depending on who is near those and to what interest / target / needs Group that individual belongs. They might even serve retarging ads on those. Fascinating.
