If you haven't done so already, you need to update to the newest versions of your viewer(s). A clean install is recommended. I don't know about all AOs, but with both Akeyo and Vista, you can choose to pause the anims, picking the least fidgety one and staying on it until you're somewhere with more elbow room.

On nails, I have these nails, you don't have to size them, they're rigged mesh and fit no matter your hand size. I've tried others but these are by far the best I've found. With others it's easiest for me to edit them while in your aos stands, so that your fingers are already where they're going to natually be. If you have a hard time clicking them for the moving around, just right click the worn item in your inventory, you can choose edit from there. On LMs, on your about land, check to make sure you don't have the specific tp point checked. I'm not inworld atm, so can't tell you exactly where that is, but it will mess up any LMs you try to make away from the original one.

I watched this video because it was forwarded to me by my niece, who got it from some classmates. This hat should work. It lists as mod, so you should be able to edit linked and shorten the bill.

Have you tried right clicking and opening, or going into the edit's content tab? Some sellers package their wares in some facy stuff, your muff might be inside the bag.

Arm thickness is a combination of torso muscle, arm length, body fat, and body thickness. Arm length doesn't have a huge effect, but it does play into it.

I agree with everything you said. I also agree that DJs usually aren't any better. I can think of one host I would go see just cause she makes me. I can only think of 2 DJs since I've been in SL that make me want to go to their sets for their personality.
