  3. If you are REALLY looking for * suggestions then how about Do ladies who lunch have a higher IQ than the salad they eat? Or perhaps Will HippieFest 2 happen in the absence of Suspiria or will Mayalily fill in for her? I won't suggest something like Is 144 fat naked Australians the definition of gross indecency? because that would probably get me * banned for * racism even though it * well isn't. ***

IRL these would be the same sort of person who would resort to mocking a persons accent or pronunciation rather than address a point or points for which they have no supportable answer. It's a cheap and unworthy form of obfuscation, and one i tend to ignore. As for those of you like myself (Self educated, dyslexic, AND Not originally of English speaking origins) Don't let people who do this intimidate you into silence (For that is indeed their Intent). Even if your form isn't perfect, you still have something of value to contribute. Angel. I don't * recall * Pep losing any * arguments and he always used to * criticise * lazy * posters who demonstrated that they didn't * care about others by * failing to take the * time to make sure that their * posts were as * clearly expressed as they could be so they * communicated themselves effectively, whether they were * ESLers or not. ***

  12. Before we make any * recommendations we should know a little more about your * reason for wanting to * cry. *** For example if it was because you were * constipated it would not be very nice to * suggest a deserted rural sawmill location where there were lots of * logs. ***

    * alts should not be * allowed! *** They are the * spawn of Satan and wreak * havoc wherever they go! *** But you are * wrong Keli because LL can not cope with * proxies, scrubbers and * anonymisers as their inability to bar * Wasted for such a long time demonstrated, as they have to rely on personal * unjustified paranoid opinion and unscientific * analysis of style which can lead to * litigation if they get it wrong or victimisation of poor old Void SInger when they * try to use stupid * string matching. ***

  19. Mayalily wrote: The Dance DVD I'd probably pick as the best sounding Fleetwood Mac ever, especially if you have a home theatre! Buckingham-Nicks, I've never heard that CD, though I have heard of it. ETA: I just had to put Fleetwood Mac in my list because of their Rumors body of work. I don't think that will ever be duplicated as a body of work showing the emotions of a breakup, a divorce, and Christine McVie falling in love again while she was divorcing her alcoholic husband. Rumors (but especially THE DANCE recording is so incredible) takes one thru all the emotions of love and heartbreak and falling in love again, and it's an artistically amazing body of work that definately could be one of the best collections of the emotions of love for all time. The pre-emo ******* rubbish version of ******* Fleetwood Mac then. ******* It doesnt ******* surprise me. *******
  20. Mayalily wrote: And Layla and Wonderful Tonight, beautiful love songs by Clapton, about Pattie Boyd. My rl bf has the book by Pattie Boyd. I haven't read it yet though. Layla was actually about Patti's sister, Paula, with whom Clapton was living while conducting an affair with Patti while Patti was still George Harrison's wife. Pretty normal for SL, not so much so for RL. Pretty sordid actually. I met Eric too at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in London which I was dragged along to by a visiting American friend who used AA to stalk people. They threw me out when I said "My name is Rudi; I am not an alcoholic". Rudi

I quit for four months and got myself an RL. I'm happy in both worlds now, though I don't visit inworld as much as I used to . I think that's a good thing. I go inworld when I'm alone but sociable, or when I get the creative urge....or just when I want to play dress up. My new home, job and B/F take car of the rest (all RL). I recommend RL highly . To demonstrate that I am not always grumpy may I express my sincere delight at your rehabilitation. Rudi
