Are u a male or female avi? I'm assuming male but could be assuming wrong. I got a couple of boxes of free hair for myself (a female) one on Marketplace and another place that has freebie hair for females, but I don't know about male, though I could drop you a lm for this inworld freebie store 'cuz there is some free men's stuff as well as women's. Anyhow, I did a quick search for male hair on Marketplace in the 0 to 10 linden range and didn't come up with anything for you if you indeed are a male avi. However, another way to go is to get a complete avatar on Marketplace that will come with hair. Some complete avatars are a starting price of $299 linden; that's a good price. You could also play basic for awhile and you get complete avatars dressed on basic for free, and you can change your avi's around on basic, I think. I've only been on basic twice. If you're not finding how to search for 0 to 10 linden items on Marketplace, let us know and we can help. ETA: Basic is on viewer 2. Which someone can explain to you if you'd like. You can get a complete avatar on basic to play for free for awhile, and even take that basic avatar over to advanced.

Hi Melita, Yes and no; it varies. I mostly know partnered avi's at the clubs I hang out with 'cuz I run from the trance Dj's (I don't want to be put in a trance plus I need some sort of melody) and perhaps a lot of the peeps in oh say their 20's are hanging at the trance, rap, rave type clubs and they are on the make. But I don't want on the make. I want anti on the make. What I'm looking for is a jealousy free zone type of club where it says, leave your jealousy at the door and dance with whoever u want. Several people in a night if they want too. It could be a lot of fun because it won't have the pressure of partnering... it's just your totally free living SL music club. No balls and chains allowed, lol. Also, I know people in their 20's and 30's who love, love, love oldies. Try going to Big Daddy's; it's jammed packed. People don't want trance or rap too much; it seems to me the oldies are the most popular according to what I've seen.

Oh, btw, I typed in G Field in my destination area inworld and came up with nothing, but I spelled it GField with no space, or else G Field is on Marketplace? I haven't checked yet. Ah, true. I'm not offering sex tho just slow dancing and maybe a kiss; that's it. What people do outside the club is their own to choose. I like the FREE LOVE GROUP idea though; however, some people could get the wrong idea there, too. If ya know what I mean.

I'd love a club for permanent SL single avatars. I'd love if someone would consider this because I wanna slow dance with all the cute male avatars, not marry their pixels. And, for slow dancing, I don't care if they are male or female behind the kb, but I want to slow dance with cute male avis without the jealousy. There should be a club for permanent SL avatars 'cuz this jealousy thing is not for me. I might wanna be in a group where everybody dances with everybody and no jealousy involved. I prefer oldies say 60's to 90's as I don't like trance, rap, dance remixes, or country too much. I'd love it to be rock, soft rock, pop (not a lot of heavy metal :shudders at the thought:) More like a club with all the hits from over the years. Anyone care to join a group like this for permanent SL singles, or create one or create a sim for this? (And if you don't think oldies are popular, you need to check out Big Daddy's sometime -- it's packed (total understatement). When I went to Big Daddy's, there were somewhere around 70 avi's in there that it was nearly impossible to move, so more oldies clubs are needed and very popular as I saw at Big Daddy's. Any brainstorming ideas out there about how to create a jealousy-free group for dancing only?

I remember when we had dial-up, you couldn't even get on the internet during heavily congested times such as Christmas time. It's possible we have more traffic because school is out, a lot of peeps have graduated, and also jobs are a bit scarce these days. I read an article that said 45% of people ages 16-19 will most likely be out of work this summer because older experienced people are having to work at McDonald's. The last jobs report on CNBC before the current one, said about 120,000 jobs were created for the U.S., 62,000 of which were McDonald's jobs. Heard that on CNBC, reported by Becky Quick. 62,000 were McDonald's jobs. This last jobs report was even worse... way worse.

When I said "how sweet" I was replying to a different post of something she wrote about SL. It was sweet. (You have to click on the post above highlighted in blue in the last post to see WHAT I was saying "how sweet" to. Now onto this post about gestures. I love 'em but hardly have any "pouts to the maximum". I need more gestures but I'm shy about asking people for a copy... or they're just being greedy (lol/joking). This thread was one of the funniest things I've ever read and I've met some of the funniest, cleaver and kindest people here on SL. Oh yeah and I charge way more than her. Thanks. I will try to kill all the scripts in my hair and then see if they are indeed removed. Some shades I was saving for Halloween 'cuz they're just too bright of a shade of a blonde for me. The shades look more like a glowing carrot rather than blonde.

Cio, I understand your points, but do you know how many male avatars are always shouting "show me your bleeps" to the female avi's. We get sick of it sometimes and that was funny to us who are always getting male avatars who might as well as have 40 hands. So many female jokes about our body parts all the time, but we play nice with the guys almost all the time. Inworld is different than here in the forums. Oh ya and I forgot, now when guys yell show me your bleeps or take your top off, I say "that will be 5000000000000000000000 lindens please". Btw, did you find Marketplace yet? I hope so!

Yeah but newbies don't know that unless it is described in the item how many scripts their actually are in the product they are buying. Hair does not say "scripted" nor how many scripts, nor do other items that are scripted say how many scripts. I think you need a non-scripted cool items thread so people can see some cool low lag items to purchase.

You can kill the scripts on the hair once fixed to your liking. However, I don't know if the other hair with scripts stored in my inventory and not worn is laggy?????????????????????????? even though not worn. Do I need to kill all the scripts for all the colors of my scripted hair even though I don't like those particular colors nor wear them. Are the scripts still running even tho stored in inventory ?

True for furniture for me... I try to look up their store on Marketplace after say a first purchase, but unfortunately some furniture designers are not on Marketplace or else I just couldn't find them for some reason. But if I like the furniture I see in a store I will try to find their store on Marketplace because some furniture stores have so many items to rezz it can take too long for my time schedule of RL and SL. Or if I see furniture on Marketplace first, I go to look inworld for the store so I can see it rezzed and see their other things. I'm a steampunk, so I'm picky about furniture. I love antiques.

Oh lord, I may have to try to clear my cache manually and see if the cows come home or not. It's weird when SL works for say months and then all of a sudden doesn't work like it used too. Happy to hear yours is getting better. I haven't logged on to SL today, so I don't know if (some) textures are still a bit "fuzzy". It's the big textures for me for some reason out of the blue that went a bit fuzzy or not fully rezzed, but not the avi's. I'm also kind of just waiting for the next update 'cuz they update the viewer so often and most of the time that solves my issues.

Yes big jewelry is very "in" right now both in RL and SL. I bought a huge flower ring and I love it! I like the jewelry in this thread. Big and bold jewelry is very in and cute.

I'm not too sure people would pay 100 linden to go inside a haunted house or enchanted forest. I sure wouldn't. I'd teleport out of there right away. If sim owners start charging for entrance into any sim; SL will suddenly become a whole lot less laggy and soon a ghost town. I'm not paying admission to any sim period and I'm sure a lot of peeps would feel the same way. In short, no way.
