@Quartz Mole I wanted to close this thread several posts ago, but I don't see where or how to. And just so that it is known, I never "yelled at or harrased" the land owner, I asked if they could reset the orb to allow me or others time enough to pass. As it turned out it was a subdivided parcel Which meant a different owner. from now on I've decided that these spaces are to just be avoided. SO Please, Im sorry to have brought this up, I just wanted to have some conversation about it. I guess this is why I most of the time avoid the forum. To much Drama.

I agree Jennifer, there should be no encroachment onto the water other than a dock for boats. Everyone complains about the "sky clutter" what about the clutter out along the coasts it is just as bad.

So I am a Mermaid in SL approximately 70% of the time, And to get from one point to another of course I have to swim along the coast lines of the main continents. Here's the problem, Costal Land owners have allowed people to build out over the water like it is land, cluttering the water way, making it impossible to sail / navigate a boat, let alone a mermaid to swim through the area that is "over grown" with people using it as land parcels. SO here is my question. "Is coastal water private or community space?" I was trying to make my way along a coastal water way, when I came across such an area that was over grown with land like housing, and of course the ten second security Orb. that doesn't even allow me to get past before booting me clear across SL to my home location. I wish LL would do some thing and make coastal water protected space and not allow such trash to clutter the water ways. Such spaces with over reaching security orbs make it impossible for boating, flying or an aquatic to enjoy. Here is an image of the area, as you can see no way to go around.

Ok so I know this is a WAY out their idea, BUT I get some crazy idea's some times. Just a little off the topic I am about to mention, I saw an article about how that Maybe Avatar complexity might be some thing that Philip Rosedale might be able to fix. "OH" ? since he is "fixing" things how about make it so that in terraforming land that you could lower the land in an area BUT THEN you start to TUNNEL under. Yeah I already know about tunnel kits and stuff, but as it is you have to set the land up so high so that you can place the tunnels under the land to adventure through. What if we could just terraform tunnels in any direction that we wanted? You'd certainly have to use a modified land tool that would allow for directional tunneling. it is certainly an idea that would be a feature in SL that hasn't existed or does exist in any other platforms other than possibly some thing like "mine craft". I cant help but think of how cool it would be to maybe terraform a passage way under a body of water and up onto the other side, create a cavern under a hill or mountainous area. So now to prepare for the onslaught of people telling me how insanely difficult this would be to program, and go back to buffing my finger nails.

I dont know, right now just does not seem like a good time to make such a shift in SL. BUT I guess with Phillip at the helm, maybe things will go ok. Welcome back Phillip.

Presently I am not listening to anything. I need or I really want a radio stream that will play on my region that is East African radio if that is even possible. I've tried to find some thing but nothing I find will work. Can anyone help? I would really enjoy it if it were from Kenya Please.

I like your Idea Mahogany, and the mention from Catnip about the homes is Okayee. But Shell homes are to me blah, Caves? well ok maybe. What does appeal to me are the type of builds from HEADHUNTER's ISLAND, like the Beached Ship Wrek that I purchased and "sunk" it makes a GREAT Mer home, they also have a plane crash that could be sunk as well as a submarine which are possible great Mer homes as well. Yes Bathysphere habitats for those that do not breath underwater to well are also great idea's to share the space. Who knows there lots of possibilities. BUT in the same token I can see if they start catering to a specific fantasy group they would no doubt be getting all kinds of requests from all the others. Who knows maybe they already have. Wish a Full underwater region were within my grasp to obtain.

I have purchased in world a media player and I want to view content from Netflix and Amazon, When I try I get the message that I need to either update my browser or Change the viewer browser. My Internet browser is Google Chrome and it says that it is up to date. So how do I go about changing the internet browser from duckduckgo to google ?

Pet Peeves : 1. Is it to much to ask that you put some thing in your About on your profile? 2. No picks, You dont want to at the very least give the place you frequent often free advertising by posting a pick on your profile? ( YES Please GO READ MY PROFILE ) 3. No AO. Never trust a person who has been in SL longer than a year and as not invested in at least a cheap AO. 4. Disproportionate Body parts that in RL would constitute a serious health issue, or just stupidly insane body part sizes, boobs, butts, cocks, muscles. 5. When in conversation with some one all they answer is "nods". You could at the very least respond with "/me nods in acknowledgement, not knowing what else to say." 6. People using voice and not recognizing what is being said in text chat by those who are unable to participate in voice chat. Ever look at the MAP and wonder What is at this region with the HUGE underwater square? Maybe the owner just decided to make it lower than the rest of the land? WELL your close, sorta. Being a Mermaid I explore a lot of underwater in SL this happens to be one of the many places, it is so easy to over look. What you will find there is a HUGE labyrinth created by the Abnor, Mythic, Crazy and Silent Mole. You will first want to find the ship wreck with the temple ruin entrance. Found it! I should of paid closer attention when going there, but it was a place I dont often look because it is not a normal place I would of, once I saw the shiny flicker I KNEW where to go.

I just wanted to Start a post about the Bellisserian Merpeople Group. The Group was originally founded by Persephone Kore (leriadraven) Who still is the founder and group Leader. When I joined Bellisseria Merpeople I did so out of just wanting and needing some thing to do. Moving to Bellisseria I felt more community spirit than I had in a long time, still there was some thing missing in my Second Life. So joining the group was a bit out of desperation for some thing to do, and a feeling of belonging. I had "done" mermaid stuff in the past in my SL but never was nothing more than some thing to occasionally pass the time and amuse myself. Later I had gone and tried to find Mermaids and places I had discovered in the past, only to find out like most things in SL it no longer existed. I thought that Mermaids had been a passing fad for others too, and that the community had died out, just to become some thing else in the obscure pages of SL history. WAS I WRONG, after joining the group I found a thriving population of Mermaids and Mermen in Second Life. One of the other main groups SWF the Safe Waters Foundation was welcoming and helped introduce me more into the community. Of course it helped to keep my Mer identity around Bellisseria, going to pickle parties, and in general swimming in and around the waters of Belli. I now feel that missing "hole" in my SL has been filled. I've met some awesome fun loving people that I feel I can call family. Unfortunately Persephone like the rest of us on occasion has to deal with Real Life situations and it has kept her away. I never intended to be a leader of the group, but Mahogany Dejavu and I believe in the Mer community and in our own little ways tried to help keep the community growing and alive. She and I have talked with the DJ Pirates at Bellisseria and will be having some Mer Sponsored events. On occasion around SL you may even find us in a group at a store or shopping event together, and I am not just talking Mahogany and I, I mean us and several of our sister or brother mers . We welcome full time Mers, part time Merpeople, to include any other aquatic life as well. We take part in the boat parades, and are willing to assist in whatever capacity we are able in a water rescue situation, because we can respond quickly, already being in the water and being able to swim to the victims in need or assistance much more quickly than any rescue boat is able to get their and provide rescue operations. I hope my Mer family will find this post and add to it. Thank you
