  1. It's all going to depend on how chintzy our testing of the deployed regions is.
  2. Moles are not customer support staff. If you need support, you can contact us here: https://support.secondlife.com/
  3. Our demo region has been done for several weeks.
  4. To be clear, there is nothing in Inara's post about having seen a preview of what we're working on... There will be no special previews, including at the set-up of the Expo event coming up. We are literally going to drop the demo region in place a moment before it opens. Sorry to spoil it for everyone, but no peeking! This is going to be, just that spectacular.
  5. Hey folks! As that special time of year approaches, full of joy, fun and festivities, we would like to celebrate along with you. As a special feature to help with your seasonal decorations, we have now included snow caps and Winter lights in your Linden Home content packs for Traditional, Houseboat, and Trailer homes! The content packs are available via your house controllers. Please remember to adhere to the πŸŽ„ Seasonal Content and Decoration Guidelines πŸ¦ƒ An update to our release schedule - We’ve been hard at work on releasing regions and as I’m sure many have noticed, our new β€œnormal” release schedule is generally 1 region per day minimum, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and other special circumstances. We’ve got a bunch more surprises to come. 🎁 Have fun decorating! Patch and the Moles.

  7. All-time, those are some of my most favorite movies. I tend to attribute much of my sense of humor having been cultivated from them.
  8. Just to clear this up, there is no conflict of information, There is an important piece of context missing: For clarity, my response was to: "Everyone", as in accounts with the first name/surname combination versus "Resident" last named accounts. Everyone regardless of account name structure (surnamed or Resident) can have a name change. I was not responding to discussion at that time about what account types (Premium, benefits etc.) in that forum thread.
  9. Do you see this? ^^ That's what I felt when I woke up this morning and read the lot of ya and your postings of nonsense dragging down what should have been a well intentioned thread. Shame on some of you who had to sully it with off-topic personal diatribes and attacks. You know who you are. I've pinned this post both as a blatant reminder that the negativity will not be tolerated and to make sure the message from the American Cancer Society, one of our corporate partners is seen prominently.
  10. Howdy everyone! There have been some questions and discussions about decorating Linden Homes in Bellisseria for holidays and seasons. Bellisseria is very much a community and part of being a community is celebrating holidays. So yes, Residents are definitely allowed or even encouraged to decorate their homes for holidays they personally enjoy or observe. In response to the recent queries regarding seasonal decorations and content, we would like to announce the following guidelines being introduced as of today: Seasonal and holiday decorations are permitted as long as they are not intrusive to your neighbors and staying in general continuity of the area, as per the covenant. Natural seasonal elements are permitted if they are applied subtly, such as a light dusting of snow or a scatter of leaves. Decoration should not be placed out any earlier than 30 days in advance of any holiday or season represented and must be removed within 15 days of the holiday or season passing. As always please take your neighbors into consideration when decorating for the season. Outdoor holiday decorations are "in theme" with Linden Homes if they are congruent with the holiday season (no Christmas decorations in May or Halloween decor in April) Remember to keep all seasonal and holiday decorations within the borders of your parcel and ensure that no content extends over the parcel lines. We will also be updating the covenant to include the following: Seasonal and holiday decorations are permitted as long as they are tastefully applied. Natural seasonal elements are permitted if they are applied subtly, such as a light dusting of snow or a scatter of leaves. Outdoor holiday decorations should be congruent with the holiday season (no Christmas decorations in May or Halloween decor in April for example). Remember to keep all seasonal and holiday decorations within the borders of your parcel and ensure that no content extends over the parcel lines. Decoration should not be placed out any earlier than 30 days in advance of any holiday or season represented and must be removed within 15 days of the holiday or season passing. Happy holidays! Patch & the Moles
  11. This thread is turning into a debate with tit for tat disagreement. Next step is to lock it and I'll carry this forward when we're ready elsewhere.
  12. For the rest of you discussing this topic, we're thinking through how to handle this. It seems we will obviously have to put up some guardrails on this matter to keep things in check. This will probably include some of the ideas we've seen here. We'll be back with an update once we've decided on a direction.
  13. Hello again Bellisseria hunters! I'm back with another gift hunt! This is a continuation of getting you some of the items I've had requests for, and it is a fun way to get them to you. Like before, I'm going to keep this simple. I provide an obscure hint, you all will have to figure it out from there. Remember, if you discover it, keep it a secret for as long as possible as to not spoil it for everyone. Have fun and a great weekend! Here is today's gift hint: β™« I'll be your candle on the water This flame inside of me will grow Keep holding on, you'll make it Here's my hand, so take it Look for me reaching out to show As sure as rivers flow I'll never let you go... β™«
  14. It's the wildest ride in the wilderness!
  15. Yup, I fixed that house yesterday. Re-rezzing the house will bring back the correct production model.
  16. Give me your $5 please. πŸ˜‚
  17. So, for full disclosure, there was.... an accident. We were working on something for something else. We used a Winchester as a test subject. A mistake was made in using a home on a region which contains the production versions of the homes. The homes from that region are the versions that are "published" to production. Through lots of.... .... the errant house got out for a very short period of time. So, some variant of rumors may be true, it may have been seen in it's purple or pink glory. The work and testing of the system was not for these homes.
