Let's break this down: 1 - You don't trust your guy. This means your relationship is already broken beyond repair because you can never go back to fully trusting him if you ever did so at all. There will always be doubt, even if he turns out to be innocent (... "this time", right?). 2 - You want to do something which - assuming he still trusts you - will destroy his trust in you if he were ever find to out that you spied on him, or intended to. Any relationship NOT built on trust is either non-existent, or just a business deal. So just break up with him now, after coming clean about your suspicions about him and save yourself the lengthy, painful process of growing further and further apart, feeling suspicious of him, causing mutual resentment and hate.

Do you also hear these noises before you have rezzed anything? And what if you walk (not TP or fly) to a different parcel or region on the subcontinent? Also, I would recommend going to a sandbox, fly up to what you think is a safe height and see if you still hear the unnerving noises. If all else fails, feel free to IM me in-world (same name as here) and I could see if I can find something using the tricks that I have at my disposal other than the sound explorer, which is fine, but does not always help me

My prediction may turn out to be correct. I would suggest standing by and making sure you can try for a Fantasy home somewhere between today and Wednesday. My bet is going to be with Monday, August 9th, somewhere in the afternoon.

So what you are saying is "I dun wanna!" because plenty of people are perfectly able to create with the tools that are currently available.

LL did not come up with gachas in the first place, so why would LL have to come up with an alternative? Nearly everything you can find in SL started as the idea of, and is made by one or more members of the community. So it is up to the community to come up with an alternative, and the community will. It may take a short while or a long time, but someone will come up with an alternative. Maybe you!

It's a public secret that the Lindens and the Moles enjoy our speculations, our squirming, our guesses, whether correct or way off. And who are we to derive them of that pleasure?

No, try again. Considering I said "at the earliest" (which means that I estimated it to be 2 weeks or longer) and his royal Patchness said "no, try again", I will take that as meaning that my 2 week estimate was too pessimistic. So... Somewhere in the next 2 weeks then, and at the pace the regions are going in and are being unhidden, perhaps even just a single week!

Actually, the helpdesk can ask a number of questions which you would not expect they could know the answer to. Like a few years ago I wanted to change my security question because... well, I chose a stupid question like "what is the name of your favorite pet" and there is not one absolute answer to that So they asked me a series of questions like name so-and-so many people on your friends list, what town I lived at when I created my account and a few more. In the end all checked out and I got my security question changed so if I somehow lose access to my account, forget my password (or, heaven forbid, it gets stolen) I can get it back by answering my security question

Definitely not. I would say that at the earliest it will be 2 weeks from now. The Moles still have a lot of QA to do an in regions that contain as many scripts as the Fantasy regions do (not just the homes this time, but also the landcaping items!), that may take longer than usual.

I'd happily take one in that region, I am self-deprecating like that 🙂 (On a different grid, I made an alt called "Tw@t Waffle", just because I can. Only I did not use an @)

Just putting a few bits of info together.... So.... since all of the new regions seem to be named already, I think it is fair to say that these regions ARE almost done (short of the QA process, which can go fast, or needs to be done several times in a row to make sure everything is really ready for release) and as Dyna basically revealed, the Moles have been sneaking around and worked on the new regions somewhere away from our prying and map scrutinizing eyes. In my mind this could mean that the Fantasy release date may be closer than we may think, but definitely NOT August 2nd!
