Bagnu Posted February 19, 2023 Author Share Posted February 19, 2023 (edited) Cat and I trying a sailboat I got her for Valentine's Day. She can' only drive it close to shore though. I really do go overboard trying to fix minutia in some of my pics. Things no one can see. Or at least I hope they can't after I try and fix them. I likely miss so many major flaws that stare other people in the eye. But an errant strand of hair I notice. Istelathis Posted February 20, 2023 Share Posted February 20, 2023 Today I was playing some mini golf I had some fun playing around for a little bit of time, I'm not that great at it but I did manage to finish the game. That beer looked delicious, so I looked around for a Cheers replica pub but couldn't find one unfortunately. I think at some point I realized there was no fixing mine, and that a world without flaws or imperfection has become sterile, and one without my soul. I started to embrace them at some point, and now enjoy seeing them. The way we all view the world is different, one of the things I really like about SL is being able to see the world through other people's eyes, at least to the extent that it is possible. To see the beauty they see in it, is a privilege I very much enjoy and appreciate. There are no real flaws when viewing it in this way, just alternative vantage points to observe how we all piece together this tangled reality. There is no right or wrong vantage point, not one dictated by the universe as far as I can think of, and the ones we create for ourselves and others are temporary, ever shifting, becoming outdated in a matter of a few short years. All seemed lost, but I had one trick up my sleeve! That was a close one, I managed to fly out with my life intact! Such as the alpha artefacts around Caitlin's hair in this crop. And the chain poking through her neck. For me these flaws are a bit TOO noticeable, and I spend forever fixing them. In the east of the country we play 'klootschieten.' Throwing in groups a ball underhand along lanes with ditches in as few throws as possible to the finish line. The word sounds odd to many Dutch people because kloot is also the word for the round balls men normally have hanging between their legs 🙂 but it is also an old word for earth ball.
