Legacy Love

I want this thread to be a please people that love their legacy bodies can come.. 

do not bash or make negative comments please .. show the love with pics! I want to see what everyone looks like with their legacy bodies ❤️

if you have tips, skins or other helpful thoughts or tips for legacy users, then by all means ..welcome here !

 

I got mine yesterday..and I have to say, I may just live in the supplied bra/panties and fur coat it came with ❤️

I just switched to Legacy. I've been loyal to Maitreya for years and nothing has made me want to switch until I tried Legacy and instantly fell in love. Maitreya wasn't curvy enough for the look I wanted, but Belleza was too much. I've found this to be a perfect middle. 😍 Here's a comparison .. Legacy 1st pic, Maitreya 2nd .. Legacy just looks so much more feminine in my opinion.

I posted on this body in another thread a couple of weeks ago, and I was warning people off of it. However, now that I've had it a couple of weeks, I really like it. It has all the right curves in all the right places. Belleza bodies are a close second for me but Legacy wins out. I am use to the HUD now but I really don't use it much once I had things set. It took me a bit to figure out the BOM, but now that I have that ironed out I am good to go. I love how you can export your alpha cuts, too.

It has the shape I like. I mean look at xBaeBeex pics. I don't have mine quite that curvy, but I love her shape. She looks stunning.

I feel like I could never go back to a Maitreya body ever again. I will have to post a pic soon.

Jaylah -  i can see the cuves difference instantly! not as jagged around the hip to bum area.. and have you noticed how much smooth and pretty the knees are? ..it was one of the first things I noticed.

 

Shaeloni - yayy! thats so good to hear and thankyou! xx I know, I dont think I could go back to my mait either now.. (i will admit..i REALLY miss having an omega system kit/relay thingo because they are all i know i.. and i am not friends with this BOM stuff.. BUT! i found a skin at PF yesterday for legacy so that is working just fine, and my genus head i use a relay)  and really.. for me personally my 2 fave stores are already rolling out legacy options (blueberry and scandalize) and I got a cute set yesterday from cynful too.. plus.. the premuim fur jacket the body comes with is everything..lol.. i feel like a queen in it.

I am finding that a lot (if not most) of the new releases I see have Legacy sizes. That was why I decided to take the splurge. I love Belleza Isis but a lot of people do not make sizes for it so I found my options limited. Plus, I have to admit that I like new "toys" to play with.

I can see in Jaylah's pic the difference between the two bodies. The Legacy looks better to me.

The Maitreya wasn't designed for plus sized shapes which is why there are bodies like Belleza & Slink Hourglass and TMP Legacy so it appears for people that want a more portly figure. The shape might be quite good but L$5k is a lot to drop on a body that could end up like the previous TMP body. My alt uses a version of that body the HUD works off an external server and is no longer loading up any of the customisation options and someone oh here a while back said the customisation options they obtained had disappeared from their HUD

This is all true, though the dead horse has been dead for some time, now. SL works off an external server and may, one day, no longer load up anything. The point is this: As long as you enjoy it now, what difference does it make if it all stops working in the future? As long as you find worth in it now, the rest is really kind of moot, isn't it?

I love my Legacy mesh body. Albeit, as beautiful as it is, I still am torn between it and my Belleza. But that's my conundrum, no one else's. The same with the conundrum you've experienced.

This is how I feel exactly. I bought it for my use now. I am not worried about the future because by then I will likely have moved on to the latest and greatest new thing anyway. And I always have my Belleza Isis I adore. I kind of think of it as the debate I have with a friend of mine over mainland versus estate land. I don't like mainland for various reasons. My friend always tells me he would not live on estate land because that land baron could go out of business and you could lose your land at any time. I always shrug and say, "or your LL payment method might expire and your account will be locked, or LL closes it's doors." I pay by the week and if my lose my estate land, then I go buy land someplace else.

I have to say, Legacy's presentation and buying process is unmatched. I'm very cynical about marketing practices (and some of the buzzwords they use make my eyes roll), but I still went for it. There's some neat features I appreciate as a programmer.
