So you placed an order to buy L$ and it took 2 days to be filled?  This is not unusual if there were many orders ahead of yours to be filled.  This is the answers forum.  Do you have an actual question?

This is extremely common if you used the "Best Rate (Limit Buy)" purchase option.  With this option, you are offering to buy XX amount of $L at a specified exchange rate.  The order will not be filled until 1) the exchange rate equals the rate that you offered, and 2) all prior orders at that rate have been filled.  If your offered rate is unrealistic (for example, offering to buy at $L280 per $1 USD when the exchange rate is running between 260 - 265 $L per dollar), then your order will NEVER be filled.  That "estimated time to fill" number is ONLY an estimate, and can be very misleading.

If you need your money right away, use the Market Rate - Instant Buy option.

In this case the Lindex was very accurate. Here's today's buy screen:

It's exactly the OP's purchase, with a 2-day estimated time to fill.

If you want to get the Lindens quicker and use a limit buy, set the rate to a lower value. Something like 264 would've been filled in a few minutes.

As a general observation, the difference in cost between the Market Buy and Limit Buy options is not large enough to be significant unless you are buying a lot of L$.  In this case, for example, you save only 37 cents by using the Limit Buy option at L$266/$1.  That's hardly worth the trouble, and you will have to wait for at least 2 days to get the L$.  I would suggest using the Market Buy option for any purchase of less than $L20,000.
