HELP with Tattoo

Hi. I purchase a tatoo, this one https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Roses-Skull-Back-CAROL-G/9333609
I openned it, but I get a tpg file and I tried to make my avi wear it and I couldn't do it.
Please help.

A TPG file?

Maybe you mean JPG, or TGA? TPG isn't a thing.

Anyway, you'll have to add it to an appropriate layer, or use whichever applier was specified for it.

It sounds like she included the TGA file for you as well as the appliers.  It is a *beautiful* tat, too.

 

This is going by memory so I can't give click by click instructions ... you need to create a new tattoo layer.  Edit that item and you will see three squares where graphics go; one each for head, upper torso with arms a,d legs with feet.  Drag and drop the TGA file into the middle box.  Save the changes and then you can wear your new tattoo on your system body.

HI I try and didnt work. 

Already open, so I have a file, when I add it to my avi, I get something that says LOAD STYLE MODE. What do I need to do???

Do you have a mesh body at all? On the right side in the Marketplace ad, it say that this is only for mesh avatars. It is correct marked, so if you don't have a mesh body, you can't use it. There is no workaround. You need a tattoo that say: "Work with classic avatars" or "work with classic and mesh avatars".

A complete avi doesn't mean it has a mesh avi. That tattoo will ONLy work with Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, The Mesh Project and other Omega-compatible mesh bodies, like this for instance https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Slink-Physique-Mesh-Body/6421371 It won't work on a classic avi.

Then you probably don't own any of the mesh bodies named here, because those are (as far as my knowledge goes) all sold seperatly, as all of those stores offer a very specific range of products and not complete sets of avatars apperances.

This is turning out to be like the person who got a head applier demo for her non mesh head (and left a one star review).

According to these asnwers I don not have a mesh body.

So, I learned that before purchase I have to read about it.

After this, I read info about mesh body, get two demos (SLINK and Maitreya) so I bought the Maitreya. I can wear tattoo and I love my new body.

So what I learned:

- Read BEFORE purchase

- Try Demo

- Mesh bodies are amazing
