Adam Stastny
Dude, I read the post that poofed. You can't call moderators retarded and then be pi$$ed that they removed it. Grow up and have a civilized discussion.. Now back to network bans - Any idea who put you on it? You must have made somebody really mad...my suggestion would be contacting individual sim/parcel owners and trying to explain your situation. Paul Hexem
That's true, I did use unfriendly terminology. As for who put me on it, the creator did. He put a lot of people on it. Anyone that uses a system like this doesn't deserve to have me on their parcel to begin with, so I'm not going to bother with all that. I'm just surprised that people honestly think the list is only of legit bans.
Ceka Cianci
Ya he just put everyone that was in that group on his ban list.. That was his only reason..He felt it was a griefer group.. I've yet to hit one sim with that system on it.. But that's probably because the places i go, know those systems are worthless and attract more griefers than they detour. It gives land owners a false sense of security..And i guess that's all some people need to feel safe.. They just walk on by those kinds of things giggling the whole way.. I could actually jump on an alt right now and that system would never know it was me.. Only because it knows this name which is tied to a certain IP..But i don't have that IP anymore so my alt could dance around free and clear all day long around one of his so called security sploders.. hehehe

That are tied to his data base to keep alts, etc from abusing them. I don't know that I've seen one of the Sploders (haven't seen a sploder in operation in ages) but in the product description it clearly states they have a PAY IN function and a PAY OUT. "“Skill Game” or “Skill Gaming” shall mean a game, implemented through an Inworld object: 1) whose outcome.......is not contingent, in whole or in material part, upon chance; 2) requires or permits the payment of Linden Dollars to play; 3) provides a payout in Linden Dollars" http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Second_Life_Skill_Gaming_Policy
mikka Luik
Its the first and only time I have run across it 'in the wild' and only then because it was mentioned - *elsewhere*. Saves me being tempted to waste money so yay!

Yeah, this is pretty mystifying, but then I haven't touched anything like a Sploder since long before they banned balls-out casinos, never mind the ghettoization of their pale "skill game" substitutes. I see that these Sploders do accept pay-in from participants yet are claimed to be TOS-compliant even outside those ghettos. If that's true, the gambling policy is even sillier than I'd thought. It all seems very quaint, although I guess there must still be some people playing Sploders, even the Monkey Doodoo ones.

Ceka Cianci
I believe there is some sort of skill thing they added to it..Something about keeping an eye out for a green flash or something like that, then clicking the sploder.. Something that doesn't require much but just enough skill to call it a game of skill.. It may be different now ,but i remember there being something that had it squeaking in there to be considered a skill game.. hehehe
Qie Niangao
Okay, but aren't "skill games" now required to be only in skill gaming regions? I mean, skill games that involve participants paying in L$s, and that pay out L$, both of which would seem to apply to Sploders, Doodoo brand or otherwise. Thing is, I apparently don't go to the kind of club that would still have Sploders (Doodoo brand or otherwise), so I might not notice their presence or absence from all but the skill-gaming regions (where I really never go). I haven't been to any places that have things like this in a long time myself..I don't know what the rules are for them nowadays.. I just know what they did back then to keep them above water in the legal sense as a skill game.. It's been a couple of years since i've even heard that systems name mentioned until the day before yesterday.hehehehe

You just needed to know when to pay in. Now if that constitutes skill I really don't know. Regardless, as Qui pointed out, if it's a skill game then it belongs in a Skill Region. I personally, because of where I live, can not enter one of those. Nor am I interested in them.
Teagan Tobias
I still see sploders around and people using them. No skill to them, add your money and when it splods you may get more back or not. But they are still around, but I don't know brand names, I have never used one. And I am in a State that can't get to skill gaming.
