0 Cinnamon Lohner
You are correct. You cannot upload prim meshes today. 0 Ann Otoole
Anyone can add the double attach spots to any sl client. See: http://modularsystems.sl/index.php?option=com_myblog&show=emerald-information-on-secondary-attachment-points.html&Itemid=23 The issue is they can be used for "undesireable effects". So I doubt LL will ever do it. All it requires is changing an xml file.
0 Ansariel Hiller
I know how adding attachment spots works. But LL should include them in their official viewer so you use them for other attachments than invisible ones.

So they're finally going to allow us to import previously created models? That would be wonderful! Is there any estimate as to when we get to see this become an actual feature? Avatar meshes and additional attachment spots. Also importable object meshes, if I read the news correctly. But avatar meshes would actually REDUCE the need for attachments, in many cases. Because the mesh itself could be deformed and textured to look like a cyborg arm, or a furry's paw, or whatever.
