Just a heads up that, on checking my Gmail spam folder today before emptying it, I noticed that some Marketplace sales commissions notifications had ended up there.   This was, Gmail said, because they'd identified a lot of communications from service@mail.secondlife.com as spam.

So people might want to set their spam filters to exclude notifications from service@mail.secondlife.com.

Three Zenovkas in a thread!  Don't often see that.

I'm wondering if it's the frequency of emails from the secondlife.com domain that's triggering if for some people.    Obviously the algorithms the spam detectors use are secret, but I do know that if a particular domain starts sending out lots of emails, repeatedly,  to the same addresses, that's going to trigger alarms.

So the fact that the recent, and very welcome, changes to notifications from the Marketplace has increased the frequency with which many of us receive emails from secondlife.com may have have something to do with it.
