Phil Deakins Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Snow is beautiful when it's fresh, but it gets boring fast, either because it gets dirty, or it becomes too inconvenient - or both. We're expecting more significant snow here in the UK in the next few days and I'd much rather it didn't arrive. Fortunately, it never stays on the ground too long. DQ Darwin Posted February 10, 2013 Share Posted February 10, 2013 What Snow Days do: When arriving home and stepping into the house, the warmth feels so good; That first cup of hot chocolate after clearing the driveway never tasted so good; Lights low and curled up with a good book under a woolen blanket; The fireplace fire crackles, it's dark out and the wind howls, but you're safe; The wind moans and the snow swirls around you, yet you're warm and heading for the house door; So sing together ♫♪♫These are a few of my favorite things♪♫♪ I hate snow!!
