Probably not. Most tablets aren't anywhere near powerful enough to handle SL, particularly graphics-wise. Depending on the operating system for your tablet, there are some third party viewers that are designed for this sort of thing, but most of them are primarily text-based, so you may not be able to see or interact with the world. They're mostly just used for chatting. Unfortunately, you probably won't be able to fully access SL onn a tablet because, again, they're just not built to handle the graphics-heavy needs of SL.

Not the full version of SL. You can use some text-based clients such as Pocket Metaverse (for iPad), Mobile Grid or Lumiya (if you have an android tablet).

The features will be limited, don't expect to see graphics though.

Not very likely.  You need a computer.  If you get an Android tablet, you might be able to get the Lumiya viewer to run on it, but you should be aware that it is a text-only viewer.  You will be able to log in to handle inventory, send IMs, and interact with people, but you will be blind --- no graphics. Pocket Metaverse does the same thing for an iPad.  There are also a couple of applications that allow you to use a tablet as a dumb slave terminal, if you are already running SL on a real computer.

Google is your friend folks. Yes, with the Windows 8 OS you can download the SL viewer. Some tabs have better hardware than others but almost all have better than many older pc's. Don't just believe me, check it out. http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2013/04/second-life-on-the-lenovo-thinkpad-tablet-2.html

Also, Lumiya has excellent visual graphics but does not support mesh that I know of yet.

Review all of the previous posts in this thread. The answer is still the same. The Lumiya view is the only viewer that offers any graphics at all for people with tablets, and it only works on Android machines. It is also a stripped-down viewer, without many of the features that make SL what residents expect today. You need a real computer to run SL properly.
