What's going on with the servers today?

Nothing of note on grid status, but I am having issues with mesh rezzing (seeing orange triangles) and not being able to make purchases (says I have no money but it's sitting right there, more than enough).  Nothing changed on my end. Worked a couple of hours ago.  Sims with 10 plus avies are at a crawl.  Now it's one problem after the next.

Seems its a grid wide set of issues, from purchases to opening your dashboard and viewing transactions. People cannot TP, prims are not where others put them.. so assume its a serious grid issue for now and dont attempt to do more then sit and chat.. or save the server load and log out til it gets better

I tried to buy something too, it said I had no money even though I have pleanty, then it logged me out, now I cant get back in again, and when i log into the main SL website it auto takes me to grid status page even though there is nothing to tell me on there what is going on.

 

Come on LL atleast update the status so we know what is going on.

2013 is the new 2005

I have always wondered what the point of having http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ is when people can't get to secondlife.com and trying to logon just gets you a logon failed message, or maybe if you are lucky you get logged on after multiple attempts

I too am noticing some serious issues and it doesn't seem to matter where I go. Difficult to impossible to attach items, remove items, etc. I can't take pictures because it says the "server is experiencing unexpected difficulties." I also can't view profiles, etc.

Having assorted issues.   Mainly crashing while sailing.  But just now probs logging in (FS categorises as unexplained error and check grid status which of course says nothing relevent).

 

Now also TP Issues once I did get back in.

At least this hasn't been an entirely wasted experience...five years on SL and I've actually educated myself in the ways of the forum ;D

I can't log in either, keeps directing me to the grid status which says nothing about it, lol. I couldn't tp, so I logged out and can't get back in now.

Nothing new people... When i restart my sim.. or you restart yours.. it does it's thing.. comes back up.. 9 times  out of 10 all is well..

 

WHen LL does restarts.. it breaks the grid, been that way for years

Yes.. I just got

And am now showing a L$-1 balance grrrrrr.

Haha...I was at truth buying hair when the same issue with Lindens and servers came up for me so I know how you feel!

I'm just using a fairly useless pauper alt to test the waters before either of my main guys goes back in. 

I still remember something similar happening to me a few years back and losing like 2k that was never retrieved.

I've had it happen before and it comes back though, that was just a one off

Is there ever a day when SL doesn't have an issue? If it's not scheduled maintence - which ALWAYS makes things worse for awhile until the fix THAT) then it's unscheduled maintence, or log in issues, or tp issues, or transaction issues, or inventory issues, or rental issues, or or or or or or or or... really? It takes money to make money. LL should make an investment and get SL back on track before someone comes along and makes a better one.... oh wait... I hear there is one already in the works. Watch out LL.... you may just have some competition comming!

Totally typical,,, when you read inventory database maintenance,,,you know something is going to go very wrong,,, its all so predictable,,, maybe one day they will do a maintenance that will actually not mess up.

Love to see SL hasn't changed much since my old account back in 04 to 07. Same crap every Tuesday. SL performs "maintenance" yet screws up 10 things in the process and takes them days to "fix" the screw ups. Here's an idea Linden Labs, how about investing in ppl who know wtf they are doing server side or better yet, go to the local zoo and snag some monkeys, I'm sure they can do a better job plus they will work for bananas saving you $ to use on making SL better.
