Hello SecondMistress,

Practices differ across the world, but I would expect an academic survey solicitation to include a good deal more information.  Let's start with the level of thesis you are working on, undergraduate of some sort?  The academic department you are affiliated with?  The name of your academic advisor or other responsible university level official that can be contacted with concerns, should there be any?  Anything less than this is simply unacceptable.

The title of your thesis does not match the questions you are asking or the group you are soliciting responses from.   You appear to want information primarily from college age participants, you will find very few on this message board.  And not a lot of them in SL either (Yes, I have looked.) 

Assuming you do get responses from members of your intended target group, you will have a horrible level of bias from two levels of voluntary response.
