  1. I think you're supposed to be able to abandon your Linden Home up to five times per day. So if you don't like what you have, you can try another one out until you find one you're happy with. For a more roomy place, I suggest the Meadwbrookk theme. I believe almost all of the different models have a second floor for that theme.
  2. All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. No real need to look for role playing communities if you just want to be flirty. Everyone is playing a role. For chat buddies, I recommend joining NCI. Also join NCI Spam. I'll flirt with you <grins wickedly>. http://world.secondlife.com/group/25e187d1-3e88-b05c-9d2d-2dceeb9d4bc3 http://world.secondlife.com/group/e8a029bf-a974-e521-9437-6cd72bf96bad But perhaps you wish to explore some of your darker desires?
  3. Congratulations, Hipster! You have just been vaulted to SLebrity status! You are now on my list of people with whom I must have a photo.
  4. There is surfing at Orgy Island. They have a board rezzer, so there is no need to bring your own board. I go there purely for the surfing.
  5. Wow, that is best job-wanted ad I have ever seen in SL. Most of them just say, I want a job! I'm going to kudo your post for being awesome. You're setting the bar very high for the competition. Edit: How does one kudo a post?
  6. Go chase down some money trees. You should be able to acquire L$680 very quickly. Use this list: http://moneytree.wolfhavenproductions.com/wmt/masterlist.php
  7. While I'm generally in favor of naked ladies in a sandbox, how about a megaprim skybox requiring only 3 prims? I sent you one through the marketplace. Drag the cushion to ground, select your attitude and it will take you to the designated height and rezz a skybox around you. If you want to exit the skybox, sit on the floor and it will pop you up to the roof. If you want back inside, sit on the roof. The glass is one way. You can see out, but nobody can see in. Enjoy.
  8. Woot! That worked. Right now I'm doing the Snoopy happy dance. I was about ready to give up. I declare you all to be expert coders. Thank you very much.
  9. I understood what you posted previously was not intended as a complete script and I was trying to insert it to my existing script at the appropriate location. Your demo script has some interesting behavior. I made a cube, pasted your script, and chatted these these lines on channel 9: ABC XYZ This is the result: [[08:58 PM] Object: ABCXYZ [08:58 PM] Object: CXYZ [08:58 PM] Object: YZ I think you have given me enough hints that I can get something to work as intended. Just need to keep tweaking. Thank you very much.
  10. Thanks very much for the suggestions. The first way results in the entire message being put on one line instead of breaking the message into separate lines. I was really hoping that what would work since the revision to the script was so minor. With respect to the ugly way, I cannot get that to compile. I keep getting a syntax error. The problem seems to be at (string(idx)), but I am not sure, it could be a problem introduced earlier. What does the "%2E" indicate?
  11. How do I parse this email? I need the message_body of the email parsed into separate lines. I'm using \n to indicate the end of a line in the email. The following snippet of code parses the message_body into one big list having each word as a separate entry in the list. Somehow I need to reassemble the lines of the email and I cannot figure out how to do it. The llMessageLinked is supposed to write each line of the email onto a message board. However, the way I have the code written, it writes one word per line, which is not the desired result. I want one line per line, not one word, if I could just parse message_body correctly. list my_list = llParseStringKeepNulls(message_body,[" "],["\n"]); integer length = llGetListLength(my_list); integer index; do llMessageLinked(LINK_THIS,DISPLAY_STRING,llList2String(my_list,index),(string)index); while(length>++index);

  13. What time will you be in-world? I won't be in world for a good ten hours. In the meanwhile, I sent you a present. Why don't you try it out for awhile and see if it helps to relieve some of your boredom.
  14. Que lastima. La lucha por la vida. No se. Proximo vez, comprar una solamente cosa hasta que se entrega. Por favor disculpa me pobres espanol. Recuerdo nada.
  15. Are you able to do anything with the bed? Can you take it back into your inventory or rezz another copy somewhere else? Have you tried logging out and logging back in? Have you tried different viewers, say switching from Phoenix to Imprudence? You own the land yourself? It is not rented and it is not group owned? Are you a member of NCI? Join and ask the group a question in-world. Someone usually answers right away. http://world.secondlife.com/group/25e187d1-3e88-b05c-9d2d-2dceeb9d4bc3

Right now, my bed is floating near the ceiling & scattered stuff laying around all over the room. How do I move the furniture where I want it? Do you own the bed? Maybe it's group owned. Do you have the correct group activated?
  17. I have the same advice for you that I had for Valdedric. Don't be so negative. Have a little faith.
  18. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out. Maybe I should start a gallery for protest art and award a prize or something for the best or most outstanding work.
  19. You do get the L$300 per week stipend, which you can cash out for real money. If you don't want to use your tier allowance of 512 sqm, I'll buy it from you from for L$80 per week. Just join one of my groups and contribute 512 sqm of tier to the group.
  20. Dude, don't be so negative. Why don't you try some groups? I recommend NCI. Join both the main NCI group (it has the most members) and NCI Spam. NCI Spam is for chit chat and the main group is for people to ask questions and get answers. It's fun to banter with the NCI chatters. For the girls, try Orgy Island. There are some ladies that go there specificially in the hope meeting a guy to be perverted with. In general though, your shyness is going to be a real obstacle as the dude is usually expected to make the first move. I like your surname. Try to live up to it and have a little faith.
  21. Are there any places in SL that display protest art? Specifically, art that is intended to expose societal assumptions and prejudices by juxtaposing the sacred with the profane. I'm thinking of something like the work of Andres Serrano, who is famous for his photograph of a small plastic crucifix submerged in what the artist alleged to be his own urine. Also images of the US flag being desecrated fall within this category.
