  1. This Nutmeg sofa is on sale for $60 this weekend, but keep in mind that it's 9 LI without the throw and pillows, and 15 LI with them. PG and A included for $60.
  2. This 10 LI garden arrangement from Tm:Creation is only $60 this weekend. Great LODs and Copy/Mod!
  3. This 7 LI chair at Merak has several color change options for the fabric, pillow and legs. $50 PG, $75 A.
  4. The fatpacks of this KraftWork Miami Retro Vibe set are $299 PG, $319 A. Individual pieces priced at $50, except for PG sofa $75 and A sofa $100.
  5. You can pick up this 5-piece Summer Spa set at Atelier Burgundy for $100, PG or A. (Note that, as of this week, Saturday Sale offers' upper price range has been increased from $75 to $100.)
  6. There's a lot of lovely stuff for your garden on sale at THS: The Home Store this weekend - but hold off going there as most of it actually doesn't go on sale until Saturday. The water pump/fountain feature with animated and singing birds and the surrounding grass and flowers is 11 LI and $99. The cherry tree (with dropping blossom) is 6 LI and $50. The wheelbarrow is also 6 LI and $50. The garden gnome is 3 LI and $50. The 13 LI beehives nature scene (with animated, buzzing bees) includes the structure, tree, shrubs, and forget-me-nots, $99. The 10 LI bird feeder with animated birds is one of my favorite purchases of the last few months. The collection with the wheelbarrow and wellies is linked and 8 LI, but you can unlink it (and relink the individual bits with their shadows). Very nicely done!
  7. You can find this bedroom collection for sale at Bricolage. The bed is 12 LI (no textture change options), the canopy an additional 7 LI. The carpets range from 2 to 5 LI; the plate groupings are 1 LI each; the lanterns are 2 LI each and the small table is 2 LI.
  8. And, despite the success of that search term, all of those articles actually refer to "floating homes". Granted, a minor point, but given my former addiction to house & garden type magazines and my longstanding addiction to the Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph supplements, I have never actually seen the term "floathome" used.
  9. Well, that’s my earworm for the night! 👂🪱😱
  10. I’ve always viewed that line about their being starter homes as a hedge against unreasonable demands and complaints. A nicer variant of “if you don’t care for it, you can build your own elsewhere”.
  11. I think the notion that they're 'starter' homes died a death long ago. I've been here since 2007 and have 5 Bellisserian houses - in each of those 5 regions at least a third of the homes have been claimed by accounts that are 10 or more years old. (Yeah, I'm a data nerd, and did a mini census about a year ago as I was surprised at the scant appearance of newbie owners.) It's more than likely that another third belong to alts of residents who've been in SL for yonks. (<- Brit slang) There are clearly a lot of people who don't consider Linden homes a stepping stone to Mainland. EDIT: Just went back to my Victorian parcel - 17 houses in the region, and these are the ages of the parcel owners (Years/Months): 1/9 (my alt) 2/11 3/4 4/6 6/9 10/4 12/1 12/4 12/5 12/10 12/11 13/0 13/1 13/3 13/10 15/4 17/2
  12. You can pick up this 2 LI dwarf cherry tree (with texture change pot) at THS: The Home Store now for $50!
  13. It's high LI (26 LI), but you might want to check out the Zen Garden Fountain today at Naturi: $199 (usual price $699) and PG/A animations. Water sounds.
  14. I was called away to dinner, but just rezzed it and it looks pretty good to me! (LOD set to 2, distance 224 meters)
  15. Also available from Goose (different location from previous post) - this 4 LI sun deck is only $50.
  16. Do you have a sandy parcel? This pack of 1-2 LI fence panels from Goose might be just what your place is missing. On sale today for $125.
  17. See Patch's announcement:
  18. You may be unaware that *all* house styles within a particular theme are available to you within the house controller. So, any Trad would give you the option for an Adams, Alderley or their open-plan versions; any Stilt would give you the option for a Havana or Tortuga; any Victorian would give you the option for a Doyle, etc. I suggest you look through the various themes, decide which you like the look of based on the general style of house and landscaping, then claim a house via the Land Page and run through the options for that theme. (Don't bother with the Log Homes as there are no single-storey designs.)
  19. This 8 LI arrangement is on sale again at TM Creation for $60. (Keep in mind that you can unlink these and use the parts separately.)
  20. Lacrime dell'anima has this set available for $30 per tint (beige, blue, pink), and while the table and candelabra are somewhat high LI, the 2 LI Art and Crafts style room divider is certainly worth a look. A matching 4 LI "cuddle lounge" is also on sale for $30 per color.
  21. This 4 LI console cabinet (with opening doors) is on sale at Dreamland Designs for $99.
  22. Balaclava is in summer mode - the 1 or 2 LI coolers are $50, as are the 1 LI picnic barrels (if you don't mind the misspelling).
  23. These 4 LI cherry blossom bonsai and the holdable branches are on sale (all 3 items together) for $50 at Ariskea.
