  1. There appears to be a new weekend sales event called Lazy Sunday where the sale items are discounted in the MP only. The 12 LI Miles Bed from Fancy Decor is on sale for $50 PG, $75 A. (Price in-world is $400/$700.) Likely to be at the price for Sunday only. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/83290/search?utf8=✓&search[category_id]=&search[maturity_level]=GMA&search[keywords]=miles+bed
  2. Still on sale at Artisan Fantasy from Tuesday's sale - the garden seed caddy and watering can (2 LI when linked) is $25. Close by, these wall planters are on sale for $50 each, but they're 8 LI .
  3. One last post for tonight - this 7 LI loveseat is on sale at Bricolage for $75 per color, PG or A.
  4. Spruce has two pillow collections on sale. One appears to be inspired by Hokusai's The Wave, $75; the other is sailboats-on-the-night-sea, $60.
  5. If you're a Kazza fan, this weekend is the time to stop by - it looks like all individual items in their ByTheSea collection are set to $60, despite what the signs say. I just picked up the 4 LI double bamboo chandelier for $60, these 4 LI armchairs are $60, the entire laundry set is $60, etc. Much of this collection has been sold in the weekend sales over the last couple of months, but this is a chance to pick up any bits that you may have missed.
  6. I used an interior shell from the MP, so the issue of doors and windows was already taken care of. But the shells aren’t perfect. I’ve found there’s often a sliver next to a corner where the texture has to be applied separately, and then the pattern will be slightly disrupted. (You can nudge it horizontally.) You also might want to change the pattern repeat from 1:1 to something like 4:4. Just experiment and then set the repeat back to 1:1 if it doesn’t look right. (I’ll be able to add a screengrab to this explanation later tonight when I can login.) I think the most important thing to remember is that not all wallpapers on sale are seamless - avoid any that don’t explicitly say they are!
  7. This rock garden with poppies from Tm:Creation is $60. It's 14 LI, but covers a large area and can be re-sized to lessen the LI. (That's all from me until Eurovision's finished!)
  8. This week's Trompe Superfans sale - $50 with group tag.
  9. The 5 LI New Yorkshire bench is on sale at Apple Fall for $75 per frame color ($68 with group tag).
  10. A couple of items on sale this weekend at Fetch: the mirror with texture-change options is 2 LI, $75; the two coffee tables are 1 LI each, also with texture-change options, $77.
  11. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Wallpaper-Abstract-Ferns-Blue-Mist-Seamless-Texture/23656561 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Seamless-Wallpaper-Textures-5-Full-Perm/23287546 The kitchen is: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ROOST-Palm-View-Kitchen-Set/9798462 As I recall, it needed to be resized down quite a bit. All the units along two walls have been linked and are only 10 LI. If you tint the panels as I've done, you also need to tint the backsplash as it's linked to the side panels on some of the units.
  12. As with my other homes, I find that there are a few particular items that give me an inordinate amount of joy. Zaker's Celine chairs are based on the Breuer/Ceska cantilever chairs (which I'm currently sitting on in my RL dining room). The cutting board with potatoes and colander with grapes are from Your Dreams and the veg crate and tomatoes are from Nutmeg. Last, and probably my favorite purchase of the last 6 months, is the birdfeeding station from THS.
  13. More from my Newbrooke Denver. (For comparison, my pared back 512 parcel version is here: https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/482347-life-in-a-512/?do=findComment&comment=2436012) The interior layout is the same as in my earlier house and the total LI used is 338. (I could save another 6 LI or so if I could link items of mine with some owned by an alt.)
  14. Thanks - all credit to David Hockney for the mural - the original is something like 8 ft x 3 ft, so not far removed from the space it occupies at the back of the house!
  15. The components of this handsome rattan room set are now on sale at Petite Mort. 9 LI PG sofa $99; 5 LI PG chair and 3 LI table $50; 5 LI empty bookcase $50; row of books 1 LI $50; 3-5 LI plant and planter versions $50; set of 2 pothos plants 3 LI $50; 2 owl cactus plants 2 LI $50; 2 LI ottomans in six colors $50. Group gifts - group free to join.
  16. It's now possible to TP to the Hello Tuesday sale shops from the Cosmopolitan landing point - just click on the sign at the right and "allow the experience". And Chez Moi has given us a demo model of this week's sale item, a 1 LI cactus, $50. Oops, will add a photo of the sign I referred to when I get back on my laptop.
  17. On sale for Hello Tuesday at Magnetic.
  18. These flower patches (1-3 LI) from Konoha are on sale for $50 per color.
  19. At Finca, leftover from the weekend sales: these 4/7 LI floor cushion seats are $75 per color. The plants (1/2 LI) are $50 per set.
  20. Only the Log Home Grandview and the campers can be turned.
  21. With my first couple of attempts to decorate a Newbrooke house I tried to go with a pared down minimalist look. It just didn't feel like 'me', though I managed to complete a Denver 512 that worked as an Air BnB bland box. Having released my Log home with the intention of downgrading that alt's account in May, I picked up another Newbrooke back in January, was fortunate enough to land a parcel with a hilly outcrop out to the side so a Denver's porch wouldn't be looking at a fence or another house, and now am thoroughly enamored with it. So, here is an illustration of how Newbrookes don't need to be dominated by concrete. Everything outside the house (excluding furniture on the porch) totals 97 LI - a good 45 LI more than I've ever used previously. (House interior photos to follow.) Monday update: No broadband or wifi so the rest of the photos from inside later this week, fingers crossed.
  22. Another high LI item that might work for you if you have a spare 11 LI and are looking for a statement item. This Laney chair from Merak has 10 very pretty texture options (Botanical, Boho) and 2 wood options, and costs $60 for PG or A.
  23. These items from Bricolage are probably too high LI to use in many Belli houses, but there are so many pretty color combinations possible that you just might be willing to use one of the 5 LI chairs (with or without sombrero) as an accent piece. Chair (with options to color frame and back slats separately), $75. The 3 LI table with 3 LI runner and 1 LI cupcake stand (poor LODs) is also $75.
  24. This rock and tropical plants arrangement is only 6 LI and $60 at Tm: Creation.
