the one on the left. with the windows open, the camera's do work just everyone is told they dont. the mic's on the camera'a are good enough to hear through your open window and even through your walls.
I know its all good..
lol The one on the left. Which one of the 165 that are on the left? From which entrance? There are 4 entrances to the park. There aren't any mics on the park cams. They aren't even running the cams because the system is so out of date it's unusable. lol

I is spying on you through your walls with infrared and x-rays.. I is listening in on you using special microphones or the microphone on your computer or smartphone. I is stalking you with hidden cameras around your neighborhood .. is is watching you through your webcam or the camera on your phone. i is the the eyes that see and the ears that hear.
Which home is mine? There are 329 mobile homes in the park with 16 more being added, mostly non-white occupants. No mic on pc, no smartphone. Those cams belong to the park and are not hidden, if they even work. Again, no cam on pc and no cell phone.
uh oh. Did I just yank the rug out from under you? oops
🤪
I know you were teasing. I'm sorry I'm too jaded to be able to respond in kind.

Not everyone can be in the army.
What are the qualifications to join the Army?
The following are the basic requirements for enlisting:
- You must be a U.S. citizen or a resident alien.
- Be between the ages of 17-34. Seventeen-year olds need parental consent.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Have no more than two dependents.
- Take and pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
- Pass a Military Entrance Processing Station medical exam.

reading all these posts by well-meaning white people explaining to a black American how she doesn't really understand racism, and how they they do understand it, and therefore her own lived experience, than she does, leaves me feeling distinctly queasy.
This is why I don't bother trying to discuss racism with most (not all) white people. I learned decades ago that they don't really care and never will. They don't want to know the truth because then they would have to face their own racist attitudes, which means the world isn't the protective bubble they want it to be. Their glass houses would shatter. So we don't get a better world and decent human beings.

The only way to have privacy in SL is to own/rent a private region/homestead with full estate rights. Kind of pathetic, imo, to have to pay a monthly bill just to have privacy. It's even more pathetic when you can have more privacy in SL than you can in RL.

M'kay. The 'Minimum Age' that was set in the ToS/CS and as was noted elsewhere is not an absolute as Linden Lab is already very aware.
Now ...
- Don't go flying off the handle at me for reacting to a particular part of or set of posts containing certain, useless information
- If your posts had nothing to do with the Ratings - which were one of the two line items in the post you'd initially responded to - there was no reason whatsoever to respond, let alone the way you did and have further done above
- Don't assume a response is contributing other people's BS to you - if I am not directly addressing you or giving some indicator that a given response is directed at you ... That is on you
So far nothing you have said applies to my posts. Posts that you quoted. My posts did not have the purpose you are giving them. Full stop.

Selene, you are one of several that were using the mentioned bits in your posts. Being blunt and honest where the Rating system is concerned: I don't care all that much as to the reasoning/motive behind it being brought up, hence the phrasing of point one above.
About the only edge case on that? Bringing it up to showcase just how broken and meaningless it is.
My posts weren't about the god damn ratings. They were about the minimum age of the god damn players of the game. That is all. Don't contribute other people's bullcrap to me.

- ESRB Ratings are absolutely useless - people really need to stop citing them for anything
- Citing the ToS/CS over and over again - in any form - means jack and squat where this is concerned
Think there is something hinky going on? Abuse Report it or get the attention of Governance somehow, see what they do about it.
If the place is still around in a month or two then you have all the answers you need. Our opinions, thoughts and feelings on the matter are rather meaningless when it comes to potential ToS/CS issues and Linden Lab's response (or lack thereof).
Oh man. Did you ever read my posts wrong.

@Dano Seale You crossed a line dude, twice. I don't play that. As for the apology, I'll consider it when I'm not ready to rip you 10 new ones.

Yeah, but my fellow white people keep horrifying me and somebody needs to apologize for them.
Now go walk a mile in my moccasins and you will see. Apologies from other than the source don't mean a whole lot. I do appreciate the thought. It shows what is really in you. And that is a good thing.

Selene, I’m so sorry for that hateful display of ignorance.
You aren't the one that should be apologizing.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see even when the truth is right in front of their eyes.
Europe invaded the Americas, not the other way around, but my ancestors didn't have the right to repel invaders because Europe decided it wanted what didn't belong to them? Complete and utter bullcrap.

Well I wasn't here then but from the wiki it sounded like the 4096 came along with the one time biggish payment ($160?). Did you also pay that money to OPT IN to the special offer? If so then a ticket should get that fixed for you.
Another page said that this happened in 2009 BTW.
Occasionally, an older Resident may be listed in his profile as being a 'Charter Member' of Second Life. This is a privilege extended to the oldest Residents who were willing to risk a larger upfront payment for never having to pay subscriptions ever again for life prior to version 1.2. This membership type was extended at the introduction of land tier to provide a free 4096sqm of land tier per Chartered Member.
V1.2 was not 2009. It couldn't have been since 1.5 was 2005.
Charter memberships date back to 2003/4 and they always had the 4096. LL stopped offering charters in 2004.

I see this is maybe a test phase for LL to bring back something like the old teen grid but for special purposes. privately run grids that allow only special registered individuals to use.
virtual events like this and other things are going to become a much bigger thing in the future because of the convenience and safety of them.
And LL does not need to care if anyone thinks a bad idea, for at the end of the day its LL choice and no one elses.
Plus it may draw in new accounts as the children age and become old enough to use the regular sl outside of the camp setting.
LL called it Enterprise and it was available to corporations and non-profits. They're so close to letting us host our own regions without the access restriction(s) but they'll never do it even though they could and it would increase income.

Yes, but this Virtual Camp thingy is not actually SL. It is a totally closed set of regions that can only be accessed via a special viewer and they have all sorts of restrictions.
ok? and?

My daughter plays as well, but I did only recall her saying there was one that was for kids. I do not think 10 is a teen, but the woohoo? isn't kid friendly I agree. I was not arguing, I just thought one was for younger kids is all.
I didn't take it as you arguing, just lack of info, so I provided.
Just fyi, none of The Sims pc games, apps or the MMO(s) were ever intended for 12 and under.
